we booked last minute as a birthday treat and had a room on the 4th floor hill view the room had been refurbished to a very high standard and the hill view was lovely. As a bonus there is a lovely sea view area and balcony in the centre of the floor. As always the public rooms are lovely and the...

This hotel ticked all the boxes for our family of 2 teenagers and the dog. The staff were very friendly, the indoor pool was beautiful with lovely hot showers, complete with hairdryers etc. A stones throw from the beautiful beach which is dog friendly all year round! There is also a games room with a pool/ table tennis table, that...

The location of the hotel is lovely. But upon arrival, it is clear the hotel is somewhat dated, particularly on the ground floor where the furniture, service and look of the place hark back to about 40 years ago, some parts of the hotel would not be out of place in a Miss Marples murder mystery set. The room we...

A fab family run buisness - good quality friendly service. Cater for all - very good facilities for wheelchair accessibility. Child and dog friendly. Accommodation excellent. The only drawback is the swmming pool is away from the main bulding but if you are fully able to walk down the slope you will be fine. Views overlooking Aberdovery excellent. Pleanty to...

We have been visiting this hotel for years, staying in the both the hotel and the self-catering houses. It is a really special location - a 5 minute walk from beautiful sand dunes and empty beach. The staff are fantastic, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The swimming pool, pitch and putt, games room, snooker room (and wi-fi)...

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Sea view rooms stunning. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great for kids - ours especially liked the putting greens. Lovely walk down the hill, across the road and golfcourse to the rolling dunes and beach.

I've been returning to this hotel for 20 years, now in my 20th year I thought it was about time I made a review. The hotel itself is a good distance from the cities and busy motors ways- which to some people can be inconvenience, but to me is perfect. It's a great get away for the family, with a...

Another stay here, with loads of good things, plenty to keep you occupied on rainy days, pool, snooker and so on, lots of lounges and so on. Great location with lovely beaches. The stay appears expensive at first, especially for two people in a room, but that's because it includes the evening meal. The food is very good overall, five...

This hotel is just outside the main town of Aberdovey. It stands above the main road and opposite the golf links. We had a family sea view room which was lovely. The room was large and spacious with lots of storage space. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Paul Wood who was our waiter during our stay deserves a mention for his...

We had an evening meal, very good. Tasty meal, although the prawns tasted a bit soapy . The beef dinner was lovely & very tender. Staff very attentive, pleasant & polite. We will defiantly eat there again.
