My husband and I visited this hotel for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. We were not staying here. The hotel is in an enviable position with wonderful views of the sea. The decor and furnishings are very good and the service impeccable. However ......... the lunch was a big disappointment. Firstly the cutlery has all seen better days....

This is our second stay here at the Trefeddian and it has lived up to all our expectations. Having just got married we decided we wanted to spend our honeymoon here and have loved every minute. The superior rooms on the 4th floor are just that. Spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated with amazing views towards the sea. There are plenty of...

Just home from spending 2 weeks at the Trefeddian Hotel. Two weels of quiet, restful. eating excellent food in an elegant restaurant. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The room was was large, clean comfortable and a fantastic view across the golf course to the sea. Of all the hotels I have stopped at, the Trededdian has got the...

Good size rooms and fabulous views - nice grounds and dog friendly! small but pleasant pool with a sun terrace. We went when it was very hot and the room was south facing so very warm. Could have done with air conditioning -but that doesn't happen very much in the UK!! Provided with a fan which helped. Staff were lovely...

We haven't stayed at this hotel but have dined here many times. On a sunny day it's a great place to eat a light lunch outside overlooking the golf course and estuary. On this occasion we booked an evening meal with friends. I enjoy visiting the Trefeddian because there is a style and charm about the place and the food...

Simple stay in a quiet hotel with great service and everything needed for a reasonable price. I do suggest the top floor which is refurbished to a good standard and has great views over the estuary. It's worth every pound in additional value to take one of the rooms on that floor. It's a great place to go and relax...

Returned from a 4th visit. Everything just as great - particularly food. Party ranging in age from teenager to 80ish, 3 generations + dog. Swimming pool with hot tub, table tennis, pool table. Did not use the snooker table, and small child play room, but they looked well maitained. Good access to beach across sand dunes, good for dog walking.

We have just returned from a most enjoyable 4 nights' stay at the Trefeddian Hotel just outside Aberdovey. The hotel is positioned on the sea front with magnificent views across the sea. Our room (401) was on the top floor and on a corner which meant that we had lots of light and good views. We could lie in bed...

Perfect location just outside the very quaint Aberdovey. It overlooks the golf links and sea, perched high and with fantastic views. It's a short walk across the dunes to the beach. Very impressive building which is well maintained. We booked late and were only able to reserve a hill facing room which was spacious and pleasant enough. Later we moved...
