Only had a brief overnight stay but I would not hesitate to recommend Bede House. Jenny goes out of her way to make sure that her guests have everything they need. Lots of home bakes, great choice for breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble.

Just returned from a night's stay at Bede House. Again, Jenny the hostess was her usual helpful self, nothing is too much trouble for her. It was a cold night and Jenny went to our room and put on the electric blanket. We sat and had a drink together and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. Breakfast was excellent with plenty...

I am developing software up in Aberdeen so have stayed in a log cabin at Ythanbank, regularly at a Methlick inn, once camped at Cruden Bay during oil week when there is NO accommodation, and sometimes at this B&B . Aberdeenshire is a delight to visit and Jenny is a splendid host happy to spend time chatting with her guests...

It was touches like this helped make for a magical couple of days. The food was excellent, my room was clean and comfortable and it was...

My sister and I travelled up from Hull to attend university and had a few days to spare before we entered our flat. As we were going to be living in Aberdeen we wanted a chance to explore some of Aberdeenshire. Upon arriving at Bede House we were greeted warmly by Jenny and shown to our rooms. First impressions were...

This B&B was by far the worst of our two weeks' Scotland trip. To be fair, the hostess was very nice and helpful, but for us this was the only positive point and we cannot recommend it at all. I am astonished about the other positive reviews, so maybe we came at a bad time, but for me that is...

Booked in to Bede House at the edge of Tarves and after a day of driving clients around the area I had run out of steam before getting to the B&B. Called Jenny to let her know I was completely lost and she nipped in to the village square and waited there till I finally got my bearings - she...

We stayed here for two nights for my friend's wedding. We were a family of four and Jenny the owner made us feel so welcome. The rooms and bathroom were comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious, and she also made an evening meal for my husband and children (pre-arranged). Jenny is a natural hostess, friendly but not intrusive. It was...
