My family have been visiting this location for over thirty five years in its various guises and seen it as one of Bangor best and sadly worst . It is nicely located on the edge of Bangor facing the harbour and is a great spot for a pint outside on a sunny day. Unfortunately it's Been a while since it...

Top class hotel. After reading the other reviews I am frankly astonished that anyone could find any fault with this friendly cosy inn. The staff couldnt have done enough for us, the food was great and everywhere including our room was spotless. Would highly recommend this inn.

During our recent stay at the Bangor Bay Inn my husband and I had a good sized room overlooking Bangor Bay. Unfortunately this was the only good feature of this rather dingey little hotel. The reception desk is situated in the bar as are the toilets, and these contribute to the smells of cigarette smoke, stale urine and greasy cooking...
