A perfectly placed B&B for those walking the wall. The hosts are extremely friendly and we were greeted with a cup of tea and cake. We were even given a lift to the local pub where we had an excellent meal.

A welcome home from the trail. Elizabeth saved the day with a phone charger, a warm fire, coffee and cookies. David drove us to Belted William pub for dinner and the owner Steven brought us back. First class service all around.

I arrived very damp and tired on my second day of Hadrian's Wall walk. It was lovely to warm up quickly, and enjoy tea and biscuits in front of the wood burner. Mr and Mrs Harding were very kind and thoughtful. They arranged for me to go to a nearby pub for supper, giving me a lift there and the...

Friendly, convenient, just what was needed. Parking good. As there is no local eating facilities in the evening the host drives you to an excellent pub about 5 miles away and the landlord drives you back. Sorted!

Of all the places that I visited in the area this really was not my favourite and I doubt that I would go back. That said the locality and scenery in the surrounding countryside make this a place worth visiting.

We stayed for one night while walking Hadrian's Wall. We arrived quite late after a long day of walking and Elizabeth was really welcoming and immediately offered us much-needed cups of tea plus plates of cake in front of a cosy fire! We had the en-suite room and it was spacious, clean, comfy and generally very lovely! The lift to...

I could not recommend this accommodation enough. It is situated right on the hadrian's wall path, although even if this was off the track it would be worth it!! Elizabeth is an excellent host who greeted us after a long day with a smile, tea and homemade cake!! Rooms were excellent and although the bathroom is shared it is amazing....

After a very friendly and warm welcome with tea and home made carrot cake and biscuits, I could relax on a very good bed. Though I had opted for the ensuite bedroom, only a bedroom with shared bathroom was available, but that was far from a bad thing. The shared bathroom is very roomy with a bath and a walk-in...

Treated as one of the family in beautiful family house. Very quiet location right on Hadrians Wall Walk. Cup of tea/coffee and slice of cake on arrival. Owner has arrangement with 'local' pub for evening meal. They take you there and landlord of pub brings you back. Only downside was a bit late in the evening after a full days...

We stayed in the room with a shared bathroom. Price was £60 and was well worth it. Really nice and clean b and b. The owners drove us to the local pub for some food on the evening time. Breakfast was very nice too.

Thank you for your favourable review which is much appreciated. We are having an Indian summer now which is a change after our poor summer. I hope you will return to the area.
