Spent 4 nights at the Anchor Head. We were issued with a sea view as requested and walk in shower. The room was quite small but the bathroom acceptable in size with good access to a walk in shower for people with limited mobility. All décor throughout the hotel was tired and in need of refurbishment. The lift only held...

We arrived on an Alfa coach tour on Sunday 23rd April. The transfer at Burtonwood was great and Dave our driver welcomed us when we board our coach. On arrival at the hotel we were granted our request of a ground floor room. Not the best outlook but as I had undergone a procedure on my leg I was grateful...

We have had many holidays with Alfa, the food has always been good, but why they have to serve the vegetables with a sauce I do not know? The room at the hotel was brilliant, but the food was a lot to be desired some mormings the bacon was so dry I don't know how long it had stood for....

It appears to be a hotel on the list of mostly elderly or infirm people because they go on coach holidays which are pretty cheap. The food at this hotel is good and nicely presented by pleasant girls. Generally speaking the hotel is shabby but parts of the bathrooms and bedrooms were fairly clean. However, I had an accident while...

The hotel is right on the sea front 10 minutes walk from the pier. The food was lovely and the staff attentive and the evening entertainment was excellent. The rooms were warm comfy and clean. The only thing that marked the hotel down was that it needs decorating but this did not detract much from the enjoyment at all. Altogether...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. No parking but car park 150 yards away, £6.00 for 24 hours. The room was spotless albeit boiling hot. Friendly staff kindly provided a fan on request. My only observation was the breakfast was not good. Deep fried, not cooked to order so dry, hard egg & brown! We didn't bother on the...

This has been one of the biggest surprises for me which only goes to show that first impressions can be so wrong! I incorrectly looked at the exterior and drew the immediate conclusion that I didn't think that my mother would like the hotel......She adored it! I have never heard her speak so well about a place, she commented that...

We enjoyed our Alfa short break at this hotel. The Hotel was clean, the staff very pleasant and very helpful. The food was excellent and the Restaurant staff were very efficient, one minor complaint was that the restaurant was a little bit cramped for the number of people using it. Our room was quite good, adequate for a short break...
