Rooms very dated but public areas nicer. Self service restaurant a nightmare. Queues horrendous and very hot. Hard to find a table. Didn't seem to be enough staff around. Good luck making toast in the morning... One little toaster and always a massive queue. Kept running out of things. Bingo very expensive. Hard to find a table in the ballroom....

I have stayed at sandbay Pontins a number of times, the chalets need updating but are clean. Food is excellent, ok there are queues but hay ho were on our hols. Emily and Ben in the dinner hall are very helpful as are the others that are clearing away the tables. The entertainment is excellent and for what you pay...

We arrived at Pontins on Good Friday after a 4 hour slog through bank holiday traffic and checked in for their Motown weekend. There is a lot of work going on. The chalets were basic but clean and warm and small. The dinning room was like a school canteen. The food was good but little choice and not presented very well. This was our first time at pontins we went for august bank holiday friday to monday there was 4 adults we had 2 triple rooms for the price we paid we was very happy the staff were very helpful the rooms were basic and clean they only had baths the food was plentyfull and nice the entertainment was very good...

We have just returned from Sand bay, it is now run by Pontins we went on a coach trip, at the moment it is like a building site with skips potable fencing workmen etc would not recomend too any one with any mobility problems, you are not allowed to get the keys until 4 pm by then about 150 people...
