This is a lovely hotel. Quaint setting, nice sized room, good bar and restaurant. We were quite happy in our family room on a recent Saturday night in November. Until bedtime. The noise from the street below our room became intolerable. Screaming, singing, laughing, yelling - how late I don't know. We finally turned on the fan that is conveniently...

We stayed here for one night whilst in the area following the Wales rally GB, for which it was perfectly placed for the Sunday racing. Upon arrival on the Saturday night we were welcomed warmly and shown to our room which was very large and furnished using good contemporary design. The bathroom with spacious walk in shower was luxurious. We...

Just been for Sunday lunch and even though they had large numbers of people having birthday parties the food was as homely and scrumptious as you good wish for, great roast, proper roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and delicious veg and gravy, also the staff all friendly, will certainly be going back for a return visit. The Eagles has character in spades, from the exterior Gothic like appearances to the interior bar and lounge. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food choice is wide and very tasty, try any of the specials and you won't be disappointed. The hotel is being upgraded by the owners and that is starting to show in the rooms and...

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way back from Ireland. We were late for lunch but the kitchen staff stayed on to cook us a lovely vegan curry! Not many places would do that for you. Staff very friendly and the back bar was dog friendly so we were very happy. Very comfortable room and bed....

The room was warm and spacious with a lounge area and a TV and drink making facilities. Free WIFI. Large, very comfortable bed. Slept like a log both...

Another great stay with Rhonda and Rupert whom I have got to know over the many stays that I have had at the hotel. I stayed in room 11 which was great and enjoyed the Bistro Steak and a few beers with dinner. It is a great place - I wouldn't stay anywhere else...well worth a trip.
