Rooms are clean the staff are wonderful and the location is close to amenities. I have stayed here for work several times and you will be very hard pressed to find anything as comfortable in this price range. After my stay here I had to catch a flight back to Vancouver Island, which meant staying the night in Terrace BC in order to catch my early flight. I stayed at the Travel Lodge there, which was more than twice the price and there was no hot water, the TV didn't work and there was no taxi service to the airport. Once again the 28 Inn is well worth the price and a docent place to stay.

After a few sketchy roadhouses while driving south on the Alaska & Cassiar highways (not much choice available in mid-September!), I was excited by the opportunity to stay somewhere that wasn't a smelly, falling-apart dump. The 28 Inn met my needs perfectly. Reasonably priced ($65), clean, quiet, comfortable. Not much to say otherwise. The motel is basic with service to match, but overall, it's a good value, and I would stay there again.

The 28 Inn in Hazelton is a nice clean basic motel. It has a pub and a liquor store attached. The rooms are clean with a fridge in the room I was in. Bathroom very clean, nice hot water.
The rooms on the backside are quieter than the front side. Friendly couple and their family operate the motel.

We stayed at the 28 Inn for 4 days. This is an older motel, but it is very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful. The location was perfect for us. There is a pub attached to the motel, but we didn't visit it. The motel was very quiet, which appealed to us. It also had a kitchenette in the room,

My stay was for a week in early January 2017. It was quite cold when I arrived and the hotel was not busy, but the manager had turned the heat up in my room that morning to be sure it would be comfortable for my stay. I had a room with a kitchenette that had a 2 burner stove, microwave and full size fridge. The only thing I would have liked is for cookware to be something newer (the non-stick pans were peeling), but I found one across the road for under $20. There was only one restaurant open in the New Hazelton area the first 2 nights I was there, but there is a grocery (MacDonalds) just up the road where I was able to find items to cook a decent meal. There is a very well stocked wine/liquor store attached to the hotel.

Wifi was really good and high speed considering the area, which was a pleasant surprise.

This is the motel that the local clients I work with always recommend and I think it is for a good reason. I will stay here again when I am in the area.

A inexpensive hotel on the way to Alaska. The rating is based on the location. It is the nicest one in the area. It needs cleaning, painting and does not offer a breakfast. The price is good considering it would be used for one night as a stop going north or south.

At first glance this motel looks better than the rest on the strip.
The room was only $65. But you get what you pay for. The room was clean enough, but my no smoking room was right next to a smoking room and the two women in it were noisy beyond belief being that it was after 11.
The front desk closed down at 11, so they probably didn't hear a thing.
I won't be back.

It was alright but I could not understand the people at the front desk they did not show up till 1 pm (I was there for a week) it was decently cleaned not great they should have better ac units they were loud and not very cooling have different shag carpet (green and nasty) but it was nice because no body else was there so I could be as loud as I wanted and there is a beer store attached to it also some rooms were different like big TVs and a big fridge but some were small tv and small fridge so if you got a big fridge then you should get small tv I think but it was not great the view was good if you were looking out toward the mountains and the shopping centre

It’s very outdated, beds are hard like cement block. Needs updating, smells very old, liquor store in same building so quite noisy with people going in and out. Wouldn’t stay there again. Stay in Smithers and travel to hazelton

After driving 1,189km I was looking for anywhere to put my head down. This place is average for North Motels and it's clean. TV with Wifi is nice to have and good channel selection for a very reasonable price. Great Find.
