An older motel, but the room was clean and quite pleasant. It had a queen bed and a leather love seat plus a large desk and chair. The bathroom was small, but we had a refrigerator and microwave. The room stayed cool even though it was hot outside.

This is a simple no frills motel in a no frills little town, but it is very clean and the owner is so nice and quick to respond to anything you need.
We had a room with a kitchenette and our sons had a room next door. Unfortunately because some have gone missing, you have to ask for a hair dryer, iron, etc. The woman manager is so nice and will get them for you right away. She is professional and friendly.
There are not a lot of options for accommodations in Hazelton, I would say this place is number one for sure. If you want a clean, well managed place to stay this place is great.

Thank you very much. Duan is the Manager and she is extremally conscientious about her work. She is truly a one of a kind when it comes to the public and her amazing personality and smile show.

Two buddies and I stopped here on a motorcycle trip through BC. The owner was super friendly and helpful. She hauled out a garden hose for us to wash the bikes down. We grabbed some stuff for dinner from the grocery next door and she gave us a grill, plates, and utensils to cook and eat it with. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Five stars!

A Basic comfortable Motel set in the middle of town with a restaurant close by and Zelda's Traveling Mug Cafe, as good as the name sounds for breakfast over the road. We were made very welcome by the owner who took time to show us the damaged cause by the previous client so we did not worry that it was felt we had done it as it was linked to cigarettes - this is a NON Smoking establishment. Easily accessible to Old Hazelton, the Hagwilget Canyon Bridge, the Ksan Historical Village & Totem Poles

After tent camping for multiple nights, experiencing wet roads, seeing rain in the forecast and hitting a black bear we decided to stop here for one night. It was just the respite we needed. Nice hot shower, good WiFi, vast TV channel selection and Chinese food next door. The bed was comfy, room was clean and the owners were phenomenal! Duan & Howard provided a ‘port in the storm’. Both were personable, friendly and helpful. Howard pulled out a dent in our front bumper and Duan did all she could to straighten our license plate. SO KIND! You cannot put a price on kindness but you can leave a raving review! I’d stay here again. Thanks D&H🥰

The stay was quiet and peaceful. I had a window broken out from a robbery the day before and people offered to help me carry things inside. I didn't need that help, but I liked that they offered it.
The room was fine.I would stay here again.

We stayed here one night in route to Alaska. Good value and was clean. New Hazelton is a nice small town with limited but adequate restaurant choices. Check in was easy and the owners seem to run a good motel. We checked out early in the morning and did a key drop, no problem. I would certainly stay here again.

As a business traveller I always like to pick my "homes away from home" and rely on them to get me through the week. It's hard enough to do this job and a nice place to stay makes it bearable.

This little motel has been in my rotation since I first found it a couple years ago. Never disappoints.

You're greeted by a young couple that runs it, and the lady has a sparkling personality. She makes you feel welcome and is very gracious for your business.

The location is right on the highway but the motel is oriented so the rooms are facing the parking lot and very quiet ( I've never heard road noise ).When you park you are looking at two floors, painted a nice white and green. Across the parking lot is a great Chinese/Canadian food restaurant. Right next door the other way is a really good grocery store and they have excellent produce every time I come here. If you need to fuel up there is a Chevron about a block west.

The rooms in the motel are clean, modern and very big! Lots of horizontal furniture to array your luggage and kit. The beds are comfy. My room this time has a great desk and high back office chair.

Air conditioner/heater has a handy remote control! I've always experienced great temperature control in the rooms in this motel. The units are well maintained and work properly!

Bathroom is so clean you need sunglasses. Wifi is fast! Great for the business traveller, and anyone needing internet access.

Microwave and large bar fridge in this room both work perfectly. There is an electrical outlet under the window that provides a good place to plug in my laptop so I can work sitting on the bed.

I like it here so much I am going to be adjusting my travel schedule to arrange a restful sleep here mid-week when I'm in this territory to re-charge myself. The people of New Hazelton and Old Hazelton are all really friendly. Treat yourself to a tour. Drive down to Old Hazelton and experience that single lane steel deck suspension bridge over that incredible geological feature - the Bulkley River Canyon. Bring a camera!

Oh and if you are coming down Highway 37, or from either direction on Highway 16, watch for their little green signs in the trees. They worked hard on those!!

Upon arriving at the Bulkley Valley Motel, I was greeted by the owner - really friendly and helpful. She recommended a couple of good places to eat, and chatted with me a bit. The room I got was spotless and really well kept. No complaints here.
