We stayed at this property along with a number of other guests who were attending the same wedding. The hotel is experiencing some renovations so the lobby and nearby areas lack appeal. We were surprised to learn that they did not have a full service restaurant similar to the Best Western in Valemount where we had stayed enroute to Kelowna. The buffet breakfast was certainly suitable.
his hotel is in a great location to access the local attractions, restaurants, shopping, drive to the beach, dog beach area and more! We chose this hotel as it was pet friendly for our older Lab, lots of areas to walk her. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful! Indoor hot tub was great, pool with water slide for others, pool only 3' 7" so great for kids!! Has a gym area, decent breakfast and laundromat if needed. Across the street from a golf course. We planned this trip to visit daughter, and friends... check out the wineries in area. ONLY got to FRIND Estate Winery!! We went for morning coffees and pastries, lunch and one dinner, amazing lake front winery! We would recommend this hotel, and would stay again!
Rooms were Clean. Bedding & Pillows were great. Food was easily accessible and hot. Our room was $350. which (I guess is average) is higher than a golf resort in Cranbrook that we stayed at that had a lot more to offer.
Room was very clean and everything was in good order. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially attempting to help us get our trailer out of the parking lot after another car blocked us in. Both concierges at our arrival and departure were very friendly, professional, and helpful.
Poor air quality in room due to renovations. Would get the smell of dust when AC fan kicked in. Complimentary breakfast was disorganized, running out of supplies frequently. Location was good and staff were friendly
We were here for one night while visiting okanagen wine country. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but nothing got in our way. We were lucky enough to have been upgraded to a larger premiere suite that had just undone renovations. The room had high ceilings, all window coverings were controlled by buttons on the wall. The carpet and furniture was all brand new. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to the OK.
With Renos come expectations that things will be a little off. We didnt need perfection. Smell or paint and primer was strong. The Ac unit was stinky when we tried to turn it up. There wasn't a dresser to put clothes. One small side table style thing with 2 thin drawers. Lots of hair on bathroom floor. Like someone shaved. When we told staff about it, no body cleaned it up. When people next door jumped on their bed it shook ours. Breakfast was good. Staff were kind. Waterslide was fun.
Hotel was under major renovation throughout lobby, and through exterior. Fitness center was closed. Parking lot was cramped due to construction storage containers. Breakfast was limited to continental options. Overall, I did not feel that I got full value for what I paid for at this location. I probably will not choose to stay at this location again unfortunately.
The renovations are hampering the quality of this hotel. Our room was not finished but the price was premium, like everywhere else. The staff are working very hard, especially the housekeeping staff and the breakfast staff. However, the room we had was put together with leftover furniture. The “kitchenette” had old dining tables and it was difficult to use the kettle as there wasn’t a surface that would fit the plug so that the kettle could rest on the counter. There were spaces for a closet but no fixtures. The iron was old and leaked. We have enjoyed the use of this hotel many times, but found that this time the room wasn’t up to its previous standard. Disappointing in that the price was much higher. I know it was a long weekend, but perhaps blocking off parts of a floor and finishing the work would be a better plan than running at less than acceptable quality.…
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night during Canada Day long weekend. Very busy, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful even though there was a line of people. A gentleman working at the front desk, Chase, went out of his way on several occasions to help make my stay more enjoyable. I stay at many Best Western properties, but this is the first one where a staff member's efforts were so impactful that I felt a need to write a review.
