Good morning, it is now December 17th, and I've spent the night at Super 8 on Westgate road in West Kelowna, room 107.
Can you tell me please how there could possibly be a pair of socks IN my bed?
THESE ARE NOT MY SOCKS.
I only noticed them when I pulled the sheets off myself this morning.
I can only think of one way they'd be in there.
I believe the bed was simply made up by the room cleaning staff, and the linens not changed at all!
Otherwise surely they would have noticed a pair of socks in there if they had changed the sheets and made up the bed brand new?
I find this appalling!

I stayed here along with my family for a few business meetings and it did the job. No thrills but for the price in Kelowna you will not be disappointed, downtown Kelowna is roughly a 7-9 min drive away. There are a few nice golf courses around the corner from the hotel.

Spent a night here while travelling through BC for work. Convenient location just off the highway in West Kelowna with ample parking. Hotel is relatively quiet. Service could have been a little better at check in as I waited at the front desk for several minutes and there was no bell or anything to let someone know I was there. The room itself was pretty nice, very comfortable bed and a nice little kitchenette which would be great for a longer duration stay. Rate for the night was quite reasonable, overall pretty good.

This hotel was mediocre, and not worth the price they charge. Unfortunately, not many options for hotels in West Kelowna. Stayed here over Canada day long weekend for 4 nights.
Got in very late due to cancellations of flights. When checked in, was not advised about the $100 deposit; did not find out about this till I checked my credit card two days of my 4 day stay. This is something that is important to advise customers.
Swimming pool: picked this hotel as it had a swimming pool and I had a child with me. When checking in, they advised pool is shut down for the week. This was upsetting due to the cost of this hotel and maintenance done during a very busy long weekend. Nothing stated on the website or email sent out about the pool being closed; there were a lot of families at this hotel so I am sure there was a lot of upset kids.
Continental breakfast: had to go down to the front desk a few times during breakfast so they could send a staff upstairs to refill breakfast items, make coffee, clean tables/counter spaces and take out over flowing garbage. One staff should be in this room maintaining and refilling items as lots of families eating and ensuring it is clean. Customers should not have to go to the front desk and ask to have staff maintain.

There are some nasty reviews and some glowing reviews for this place, I can only speak to the extent of my interactions. There is a bit of noise in the hallways, it's not a 5 star hotel, I'm okay with that. Staff are polite and friendly. Continental breakfast is not under lock and key so you can even take it back to your room without being hassled. Easy to navigate. Bed is average, along with the pillows. Linens smelled of the usual faint hospital bleach hotels are known for. Bathroom was small, but manageable. If you want something that meets basic needs and gives you privacy, this is the hotel for you.

The water is brown. The carpet is stained. The prices are highway robbery. We talked to the front desk about our water and how we aren’t showering in that and they told us all water in west Kelowna was like that.. which is simply not true. We asked for a refund on our stay and they gave us $30 bucks off our bill of $350 for 1 night. Unbelievable. 0 value for your money here. This is a $149 per night max hotel and even that id be reluctant to pay that. Will never be back here !

So when you pull into the hotel parking lot there will be homeless people gathering in the shade of the trees. They LIVE at the hotel. It’s a halfway house. NO MENTION of this on their website and you’ll still be paying full price of $140-160 a night. Our view in our room looked out onto a backyard. Checking in they’ll tell you that Alberta travellers don’t need to worry since they have security. That’s for the homeless people to make sure they’re not getting into your stuff or the vehicles. Checked into our room, there was still dirty linens on our “clean” bed. Drawers were all pulled open. There’s no housekeeping unless you’re checking out. No breakfast either, you get a paper bag with juice box, a cookie, a bear paw. Fun. No coffee maker in our room. We HAD to stay because of a family members funeral, but won’t be back.

It appears the site is being used to house the homeless or low income. It also appears to be used for a drug injection site which is very concerning. We cannot recommend staying here until these issues are addressed, there is no mention of this in their booking information.

Our room had an odour upon walking in and there was some sort of liquid splashed all over the wall and TV. Under the blanket on one bed was bits of black pieces that we just brushed off. The building front was outdated and reception area was hot and we had to wait for someone to check us in. Wasn't a fan of the continental breakfast and the pool was gross and brown looking.

Long story short they screwed my vacation financially. Precooked and prepaid but they charged me over 300$. Then they refunded the issue to someone else's credit card... not impressed and out of pocket alot of money.
