For what we paid, I would have expected so much more. We checked in and our keys didn’t work. We were told it was our fault for putting the keys next to our phones (we didn’t). This happened several more times during our stay. We also found towels from the previous occupants in the bathroom. We called the front desk and told them we were leaving them outside our door, where they sat for the next 24-36 hours. For some reason, all of the door handles were sticky, not something we were comfortable with or could even figure out. We were given some paper towel and cleaning spray to clean our rooms as there was no daily maid service (not a big deal, but for $1,000 a night, I expected more). There was no breakfast being served (again, not an issue except for how much they charge). If you drive a Tesla or other EV, this is not the place for you - they have two very low volt/amp pay plug-in stations that are located directly next to sprinklers. I’m not sure about you, but plugging in my car as my legs are being soaked is “not ideal.” Finally, hanging out by the pool was high on our agenda. That was fine but there is no pool service other than having to convince the pool attendant to give you towels - don’t expect drink/food service unless you go into the hotel bar (and then it is very slow) and the cabana that historically serves drinks only handed out towels (or rather berated you for not exchanging your towels even though they didn’t tell you that was the convention the first two days you were there). I am sure this will all probably be chalked up to COVID, but few people wore masks so it really didn’t seem to be an issue and we have seen much better service at other places we stayed (Whistler for instance) for comparable prices. On a positive note, the location is great and we managed to avoid most of the forest fire smoke.

Do everything you can to avoid this place if you're wanting a beach hotel. The so called beach is all sharp rocks clear into the water. There are maybe 4 beach chairs and loungers. Not as advertised. The pool is as big as a house pool and packed with no drink service.

Staff was very accommodating on desk! Our room was very nice and beds were great but furniture in room was dirty and tired, needs updating. Flooring was newer and paint in room. Overall nice place but but expensive since check in is at 5pm so most of day is gone. You can use pool until it’s ready which was nice

Great lake side resort with friendly service and clean rooms. Great location with boat and water sport rentals close by. The kitchens have limited utensils, cutlery and dishes, however you can request more if you need them.

As the hotel emerged out of COVID regulatory changes, we were kinda caught in the middle for the three days we stayed there. The pool still had restricted hours when it should have been open longer. Website said they offered Sunday brunch but they didn’t yet and weren’t sure when it would start and stuff like that. But I’m sure they will get that sorted. We really liked our room and everything was comfortable and worked. Restaurant had fresh and tasty food with really nice staff. Cassidy was awesome. Except for the high cost per night, I would stay again for sure.
