Comfy bed, air conditioning, spotless, beautiful decor and gardens. All the amenities such as wine picnic basket, kayaks, mini golf and your own dock to swim off. The breakfasts were made each morning with concern for my gluten free diet as a celiac with all fresh ingredients from the area. We could not have been hosted by two nicer people and the other guests who stayed there were great to meet as well. I would highly recommend this B&B.
We went here for a few days after our wedding recently and it was just what we needed! BEAUTIFUL house, beach area and willow tree to sit under. The yard is stunning. Deb had mint water ready for us at all times and the breakfasts were phenomenal. They helped us find places to eat and even bought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding. We plan to go every year on our anniversary.
Best B&B we've ever stayed in. Just 5 min drive from downtown Kelowna, perfect views, great amenities (including kayaks) and and incredible breakfast. The house designed to be a B&B and this really makes the difference, bathrooms in each room and comfy common area. We will come back, highly recomended.
My girlfriend and I stayed recently for 4 nights and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts were easy to talk to and did everything they could to help make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfasts were amazing and the food was fresh. We stayed in the Lake View Room and it was well decorated and the bathroom was perfect. A large tub and separate shower. The location was only a short drive into the city and nearby wineries. The best part was the beautiful landscaping leading right out onto your own private dock on the lake. We had access to kayaks and a paddle boat which was a lot of fun. It was everything we could have wanted and we highly recommend the Willow Beach Bed and Breakfast.
My husband and I stayed in the Lake Room on the Labour Day long weekend for an anniversary getaway. What a wonderful place! Deb and Jim are fantastic hosts. They have an eye for all the little details that set an inn apart - simple touches like candles beside the two-person soaker tub and a decanter of whisky beside the bed. Jim even gave us a bottle wine from his cellar when we were too lazy to make the short drive to town. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was huge, with giant walk-in shower. Wonderful view of the lake with private balcony. Location of the hotel is beautiful - right on the lake with private dock. Outside the Lake Room is a nicely-furnished common sitting room with view of the lake and cozy fireplace. All rooms have good separation between them and the owners have their own quarters, so you really feel like you have the place to yourself. Both mornings we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh ingredients. Our room was so comfortable we didn't even make it to the hot tub. Next time!…
We were two couples staying two night while on a wine tour. This home is about 1o minutes outside Kolowna by car and has the most fantastic location right on the side of the lake looking eastward. It is also a good location for access to many of the wineries in the area. The rooms are extremely comfortable, you have access to the gardens and the lake with a dock, kayaks, hot tub. We were made extremely welcome by Jim and Deb and there must be a special mention for the really excellent breakfasts prepared by Jim, which were the height of modern and tasty cuisine - yummy! This was much more comfortable and welcoming than any hotel is likely to be and whilst it is not cheap we highly recommend it. We will definitely stay again on our next wine trip to the Okanagan!
This B&B is outstanding and I can see why everyone rates it as 5 out of 5. The building is worth multi millions of dollars. As soon as you arrive at this hidden gem, you see a grand entrance with high windows surrounding a large wooden door. Once inside you see the panoramic views over Lake Okanagan. The bedrooms are spotless and tastefully decorated. You watch the gourmet food being prepared at breakfast while you sit at a granite bar or at the dining table by the window. The kitchen is like a high end kitchen which would be purchased by an expert chef. That is because the very friendly and professional couple who run Willow Beach are expert cooks. The location is only a couple of kilometers from the Town of Kelowna along a small road that skirts the lake and across the newly constructed bridge. I often stay at hotels which cost $250 a night for a bed with no food. The price of this B&B is very low in comparison although the accommodation is superior. I should declare that since my wife and I stayed there the first time, we have become friends with the hosts but what I have written above is absolutely true.…
Willow Beach B&B is sat right on the west side of Okanagan Lake in West Kelowna. Its like staying on millionaires row. The view from the property of Okanagan Lake can not be beat. Jim and Deb were wonderful hosts who were like Canadian family by the time we left. Our room had its own balcony which was very comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. The breakfast on the terrace each morning was wonderful. Jim made us a different meal both days and we thought it was the best breakfast we had had throughout our whole holiday. There's not much in the way of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the B&B but its not far into town or to one of the local vineyards. We drove into Kelowna downtown the first night but Jim kindly offered to drop us at Quails Gate for our evening meal the following night which was fantastic so we could have a few glasses of wine and relax and enjoy our meal. This is what's great here at Willow Beach B&B, they can't do enough for you, just lovely people. At the bottom of the garden is the property's own landing. We sunbathed there and you can have free use of the kayaks and inflatables which was great fun. It was a great place to chill out and after all the driving we had been doing it was perfect. Many thanks again folks see you again if we are back in the Okanagan!…
We stayed for one night as we attended a wedding down the road on Westside Road, Kelowna. We needed an early check-in so we could freshen up before the wedding and Debbie, kindly, made it happen! This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting with gardens and a dock on Lake Okanagan. Our room had a view of the lake and a fabulous bathroom with a large tub and lovely tile finishings. We slept very well as it was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was outstanding! I always look forward to breakfasts in B&Bs and this was one of the best. The eggs benny were from scratch and the home baking( strawberry muffins) and fruit parfait with brulee sauce were special. The sundeck overlooking the lake was a great place to have breakfast (including the hummingbird visitor). Jim and Debbie were so accommodating. They grow their own veggies and herbs so really a treat to be fed by them! We will certainly stay there again!…
Willow Beach B&B is absolutely tops in providing guests with a combination of warm hospitality, luxurious accommodation and a fine gourmet breakfast served in either the dining room or deck overlooking the lake. Bedrooms are graciously furnished with fine linens and seasonal flowers. Outdoors, guests are offered use of the dock for sunbathing and swimming, kayaks and a canoe, a hot tub and putting green. Lovely gardens surround their home and and provide the fresh flowers and herbs. Jim and Deb indulged us with luxurious gourmet breakfasts featuring fresh fruits and baking and imaginative and delicious hot items like omelets or crepes. They offer assistance with restaurant and golf course recommendations and reservations, winery tours and sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed morning coffee on the dock on the lake and found robes and beach towels in our room. We have stayed in many other B&Bs and none have provided such a luxurious combination of pleasures. We look forward to coming back.…
