We stayed here overnight. What a wonderful little motel. Such friendly and caring folks. Our room very comfortable and we wanted for nix. The meals are incredible and the breakfast included porridge and it was yum. Well done indeed. Many thanks for a great stop over.

Thargo is a remote part of Aust and as such you need to recognise the challenges for hoteliers in such an area. This motel is very basic but very Australian bush, its clean and well situated in town, meals are available and the owner is very happy to help and look after you before and during your stay. The lasy...

My stay here was lovely. My room was modern and clean (well serviced each day). The onsite restaurant served delicious meals (with hearty portions) - no special requests too much. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. I agree with the other reviews, a great town worth visiting.

In a word, friendly - in fact very friendly. And so is Thargomindah. Just down the street is COD (Coffee on Dowling) which is surprisingly good for far west Qld. We didn't have time to try the pub, sorry !

From the pick up at the airport to the drop off the next day the stay was fabulous. The kids in the street and at school were just so friendly. The look you in the eye and the G'day how are you that was genuinely meant was fantastic and made us feel so happy. The adults were the same, so...

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here during our travels. The food was like my own home cooking and the atmosphere was relaxed. Both my husband and I enjoyed the company of Phil and Donna. Phil kept us entertained with local stories.Highly recommended.

The main attraction is great food and friendly service. This premises is very popular with regular business travellers and it's easy to see why. The staff are very helpful and the meals in the restaurant are large, tasty and well presented home style cooking. There appears to be a variety of accommodation styles, with ground level cabins suited to disabled...

Good value for money and nice friendly staff. Room is comfortable, especially the bed. Bore water, you need to get used to, but that is how it is in this area. The town is peaceful except for the occasional flock of corellas, magnificent sight. Overall, a great place to stop over for the night.

The owners made a special effort to accommodate us as we were 2 brothers and our elderly father. The 2 bedroom managers residence was vacated and we had a very comfortable stay on a wet and cold night. Excellent breakfast the next morning and we were on our way. Many thanks to the staff.
