I have stayed a few times now whilst on business. So peaceful that I sleep much better than usual. Jennifer is a wonderful host. Great breakfast and evening meal available. Nice local traditional and friendly pub (The Victoria), with a good pint of Guinness.

We had a really wonderful four night stay at this charming B & B. The owner, Jennie, made us really welcome and could not have done more to make us feel at home. She produced the most delicious breakfasts! The period cottage is really comfortable and charming in all its aspects - there is a lovely little patio and walled...

We have just enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at Bridge House. Jennifer is simply wonderful and makes the whole experience so easy from initial booking right through to a very friendly wave as we departed. Yes, the picture postcard cottage is idyllic but it is Jennifer's particularly charming and helpful manner and attention to detail that makes this B&B special....

A delight to arrive and be greeted by Jennifer. Fortunately, we had asked to have dinner prepared soon after arriving. No local restaurant could have come up with a better meal! My celiac (requiring all "gluten free food) and for both dinner and breakfasts she was taken care of admirably. The weather was extremely hot on our visit and, as...

My family and I have just returned from two nights at Bridge House. What a lovely little B&B and our host, Jenny, could not have been more friendly and helpful. This was particularly appreciated as we were travelling with a four week old baby and Jenny went to a lot of trouble to make things as easy as possible for...

An absolutely delightful place to stay. It is run by Jenny, who is very nice and friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was delicious and I also took some rolls with me as Jenny is also a caterer which is very handy if you want to take a packed lunch. I...

I spent a week with Jennie and David at Bridge House recently. The communication prior to booking was efficient and friendly. The B&B was recommended to me. My room was en suite and over looked a garden which is dedicated for use by residents only. It is a beautiful garden which includes mature established shrubs, some lawn, a table and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Bridge House is located in the centre of Earl Soham, a pretty village situated on the A1120, between Stowmarket on the A14 and Yoxford on the A12. It is a delightful period property originating in the 16th Century with some 18th Century 'modernisation' and 21st Century facilities. It provides an excellent base from which to explore Suffolk. The village, a large part of which is a designated conservation area, has a medieval church, the 'Victoria' pub which brews its own beers, a shop and many old houses and cottages, all set in delightful surroundings. Bridge House is three miles from the small town of Framlingham with its historic castle, church and market square and is within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast and its many attractions. Jennifer Baker offers bed-and-breakfast accommodation, and are the proud recipients of the VisitBitain Four Star Silver Award. We have also received the coveted enjoyEngland Breakfast Award. Our aim is to give you a comfortable and memorable stay and if you require an evening meal, this can usually be arranged. For your special event in the area, we also provide catering services to suit a wide range of budgets. ... more   less
