We celebrated my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary on 16th March 2017, 36 of us with a lunch. We had the restaurant to ourselves, the tables were beautifully laid, the food very good and excellent personal service by the staff involved. Very relaxed atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend this venue for a special occasion.

The setting of this hotel is gorgeous - great views and one of the most amazing Yew trees I've ever seen in the grounds. The staff were friendly, and helpful. I thought I'd start with the good bits. I was allocated room 508. The receptionist said that the room was up the stairs, and through the door on the right....

We stayed here at the country house hotel as a weekend base for exploring Chipping Sodbury and Cribbs Causeway. Handy location for Bristol or the countryside. Our room was in the modern extension wing, although modern is a relative term. Room was comfortable but the bathroom shower did not work unless the bath tap was also running. Breakfast was good....

We needed a place to stay that afforded easy route to Wales and having stayed in mercure hotels before opted for here. View up to hotel on arrival is lovely. Room clean and beds were very comfy. Not too hot only downside was shower, and no one on reception when we left to say anything. Would stay again though.

Stayed here recently as a wedding guest and was not at all impressed, let me start by saying the staff were very good, curtious, helpful, and professional but that won't save the poor review here as the hotel and room we stayed in was very dated and grubby looking, the corridor walls were all marked and scratched with paint chips,...

Very convenient stop if travelling on the M4. Originally a country mansion on an elevated position with beautiful views over the valley, the house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has been given a modern make over. If mobility is an issues ask for ground floor accommodation as there are no lifts and the stairs are quite narrow. Rooms are...

I stay here regularly and i'm never disappointed. The rooms are all very spacious, they can be cold in winter months but the radiators do warm the rooms pretty quick. For me the Bathrooms are looking a touch dated but i guess i like a modern look. Breakfast is always very good and the staff are always happy to help...

First I'd like to say this hotel is lovely. I had booked my stay so myself and my partner could spend some quiet time relaxing and enjoying a meal and drink, What I experienced was different. When I arrived to check in I asked to book a table for tea and was told I could not as all the tables...
