very friendly and helpful hosts, spacious room en-suite with sea view, delicious dinner and breakfast, village centre within a few metres I would like to come back. By chance I joined a music session in the game room.

Stayed here two nights in a small room with uncomfortable twin beds- shower did not work properly and dangerous, switching from freezing to scorching hot! Breakfasts were terrible , and too short a window to get it. Staff were so nice though, and did their best to please. Needs a compete update.

Called in for a beer and loved it - the guy behind the bar lovely and friendly and loved the titanic pictures etc, On first sight we liked the atmosphere and would have eaten if time had allowed - just got a feeling it would have been good Will try to return when we are in Devon again - we...

Dropped into our local and had another great night. Beer is good, landlord is great and the social is amazing. There is a great outside seating area giving a glimpse back into the village and although we didn't eat the food looked good. Thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here for a three night weekend in a good size room that was clean and comfortable but could do with a little tidying up like paintwork around windows and carpet a bit threadbare in places. Everyone was friendly and helpful, breakfast cooked fresh, only small problem it is served between 08.30 and 09.00 would like to see more...

Warm, and friendly service with homely food 5 minutes walk from the beach at Westward Ho. The hotel has a large carpark and plenty of space for eating and drinking both indoors and outside in an enclosed garden area. (There's even a covered outside area for those who need to smoke)! Rooms are clean and basic, but spacious, with good...

Some reviews here are a little mixed but we stopped last night on our way back to the holiday cottage in Exmoor. We sat in the conservatory and it was quite quiet when we arrived. The place looked clean and well kept and the menu had enough variety to include vegetarian. The food was good and reasonably priced; we were...

Service was very quick and staff friendly. The food was delicious and plenty of potatoes and veg on separate trays . Great value. We will go...

Stayed with my partner weekend of 6th may 2016. Had a lovely room nice and large comfy bed and clean. View of the sea too. The food was very tasty and we ate here the 3 nights we stayed. Breakfast was great too. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Only one complaint, the curtains in the...

I have to say the room was a big size and very clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. Wifi wasnt great. Close to the beach. Nice staff. Breakfast was good. Only problem was the noise from the bar downstairs. Went on until 23.45pm. Needed earplugs as juke box and shouting in bar kept me awake. Noisy but nice.

Thank you very much for your comments and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. It can get a bit noisy on a Saturday night when we usually have entertainment on but we do try to restrict this to the area in which the entertainment is taking place.
