The staff were friendly and welcoming and drinks were served quickly unfortunately it went downhill after that. We wanted to order food and were told as it was New Year there was a limited menu which was fine however they had also run out of some of the dishes on the limited menu, still fine as we all managed to...

Can't believe the virtually overnight downturn in the quality and ambience of this good old village local. The staff and management have always been friendly, welcoming people and in the 12+ years My partner and I have been using this pub and bed and breakfast have had slight disappointments with the food at busy times but have put it down...

Stayed here two nights in a small room with uncomfortable twin beds- shower did not work properly and dangerous, switching from freezing to scorching hot! Breakfasts were terrible , and too short a window to get it. Staff were so nice though, and did their best to please. Needs a compete update.

Dropped into our local and had another great night. Beer is good, landlord is great and the social is amazing. There is a great outside seating area giving a glimpse back into the village and although we didn't eat the food looked good. Thoroughly recommend it.

We stayed here for a three night weekend in a good size room that was clean and comfortable but could do with a little tidying up like paintwork around windows and carpet a bit threadbare in places. Everyone was friendly and helpful, breakfast cooked fresh, only small problem it is served between 08.30 and 09.00 would like to see more...
