We liked the house and location. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful but the menu and the food were very disappointing. Choice of dishes was very limited so we were glad that we'd only booked for two nights.
Friendly & helpful staff. Very good location for Cromford Canal & Mill. Easy walk to Masson Mill and pleasant walk (although alongside A6) to Matlock and Abraham Heights.
The hotel, restaurant and grounds are really pleasant. Our Labrador was made to feel welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Lovely gardens to stroll around. Our room was very spacious with a nice big bathroom. Dined in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. Staff very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
