My wife and I only had two nights here unfortunately, and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is lovely, the young staff are really friendly and helpful, and our twin room was very comfortable, scrupulously clean. We were out most of the time visiting our daughter and family who were camping at Shell Island, some ten miles away, so we only had breakfasts. Not being morning eaters we opted for the continental, which gave us a choice of cereals, toast, jams, marmalades, honey, croissants, orange juice, tea or coffee, all for £3.99. Our bathroom, although small, was well supplied with soaps, shower gel and shampoo, and again was spotless. The finishings would not have disgraced a 5* hotel, with lovely wall tiling and a safety floor. We were on the rear of the hotel, room 8, so we did not have the benefit of the view to the front, maybe we can rectify that on our next visit.

We stayed here for just one night but loved this hotel! Staff were super helpful & friendly.

Although not disabled, we were put in an accessible room and recommend for people with disabilities as the hotel has great resources.

Also recommend the breakfast - it’s not too expensive and really tasty! There’s not too many restaurants around and if I was staying again, I would definitely get their breakfast again. They have a continental (cheaper) option as well as a more expensive cooked (to order) option which is what we went for.

My sister found this hotel for us this weekend. It's only a 15 minute drive from Zip world and the location is perfect. The views from our 3rd floor room are stunning. The room was large and for the most part very clean with the best shower I've had in a while.

Breakfast was beautiful, locally sourced and cooked to perfection, so too was the coffee (freshly brewed but not for those that don't enjoy a real kick). 10/10.

I'm useless with names but the guy that seemed to do absolutely everything & could have done with a bit of help at times was the perfect host. He was very friendly & chatty. He knew alot about the area and was very helpful.

There were a few minor things that could improve but easily rectified & this place would easily be worthy of at least another star;

There the window frames in our room could do with some attention. They were dirty and one was broke.

We came down earlier than planned & understandably had to wait 30mins to be seated as there are only 5 tables in the dining area. Unfortunately our table wasn't wiped down and had the last diners sugar all over it. This wasn't cleaned prior to our breakfast being served, we had to ask for cutlery & our coffee came along with the breakfast, I would have preferred it to come whilst we waited for our cooked breakfast arrived. If there had been 2 people on breakfast service I'm sure it would have gone much smoother.

During our stay (arriving at 3 pm) we only saw 1 member of staff until the very end of breakfast (9:45am). Whilst he did brilliantly and is again a wonderful host, he clearly needed some assistance.

Great location, lovely clean hotel and staff we met were brilliant. Would have given hotel a higher rating but of the evening, from 10pm, whoever or whatever was below our room sounded like they were slamming doors until 2/3am. I visited reception to ask what it was but there was nobody around and ended up leaving a voicemail. We also didn't know where to go for breakfast nor was there anybody around at reception to ask and had to resort to asking other guests. The hotel takes every covid precaution with clear signage and sanitising spots throughout and I'd definitely recommend it for flying visits.

We were part of a cycling group of 8 and the hotel were great in accommodating us with various rooms and our bikes.

After a wet 8 hour cycle when we arrived at 7pm we found out there was no evening meal option, as the chief wasn't there. I think this might be a common occurrence and it meant we had to get taxis to the local town to a takeaway which cost £30. Double check you can get the evening meal as its really remote.

They did let us dry our clothes in their tumble dryer, which was really nice of them.

The breakfast was good, but dont expect it to come fast if you are a large group like we were.

The hotel is understaffed, but are very hard working. This hotel caters mainly for disabled residents or short stay disabled occupants, so the rooms are all set up should you require these features.

It was an interesting stay, thats for sure..

When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady on the reception desk (Sorry can't remember her name), they explained about the covid rules and the meal times. A better parking space was suggested for our motorcycle but as we could see it from our room, we felt it was ok parked in the main car park. The young team members who were dealing with the bar and evening meals, lacked coordination between each other and the guests, more than once we were brought other peoples drinks. But they were polite and friendly.

I cannot fault our stay at all. We were able to check in very late (after 9pm) with no problems. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed - the shower was especially lovely.

A hot, fresh, perfectly cooked breakfast set me up nicely for our walk up Snowdon.

I wish we'd had more time to enjoy the hotel more. Will definitely look to stay again when back in Wales

What a find - we do not know the area and came upon this lovely hotel completely by mistake. Wow how we have fallen on our feet, it is so very clean and fresh, the staff are very courteous and the food extremely good. The owners should be very proud of the efforts they have made to make everyone so welcome and comfortable. We have been to some of the best hotels in the World and they should take note of what this hotel has to offer.

The hotel is clean and modern and located in a scenic area. The service is ok and there is reasonable parking right in front of the hotel. The one thing you must avoid is Room 10. The hotel seems to receive deliveries daily from 6-00am and they arrive right next to room 10. Also there is a piece of machinery below room 10 that seems to be switched on at random times and bangs loudly and is accompanied by some sort of high speed fan. If you are looking for a lie in this is probably not the room for you.

This a lovely hotel with great views. We had 3 rooms including a family room which was huge. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were good and cooked to order. We did not eat dinner in the hotel, only because we were visiting family, but the menu had a good choice. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is set up to cater for those with disabilities and therefore some of the bathrooms are adapted and there are other adaptations around the hotel and while we did not need them it is perhaps how all hotels should now be . We would definitely stay again.
