We have been guests at Au Chant de l'Onde three times in the last two years. We just keep going back. Wonderful hosts Christine and Pierre made our visits to the Eastern Townships memorable. Delicious breakfasts each morning start your days of adventure and fine dining. My husband is somewhat disabled and Pierre was so helpful and kindly while we...

We really enjoyed our 2-day stay in this rustic and comfortable accommodation. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and ever ready to make us feel at home without being intrusive. The breakfasts were a feast fit for a king with delicious homemade bread, jams, quiche and crepes and waffles for desert. It is situated in a small beautiful village on...

We were here 2 years ago, and this time it was as charming as ever. The location in the village (one of Quebec's most attractive) is ideal, and the verandah backing onto the large grounds overlooking the stream is a wonderful outdoor experience in the warmer weather. Indoors, all is cozy with many artistic creations, including by the host Pierre....

A beautiful home with lovely gardens. The owners are lovely people, very informative and serve a wonderful breakfast. Freiligsburg is a picturesque town with neat shops to explore. The owners of this B&B have their own private space, so you don't feel at all like you're invading their privacy, and the grounds are a lovely little haven next to the...

The proprietress was tri-lingual -- French, Spanish, and English. i.e., A skill much appreciated by this mono-lingual American Anglophone. What led us to the town was following the clues of Quebec mystery writer Louise Penny. Frelighsburg actually has three dramatic pines on the square outside its city hall -- but are they Louise Penny's "Three Pines???" Breakfasts at this B&B...

Thank you for the excellent description of our B&B and the surroundings. For suggestion, we always put a coffee maker and/or tea maker for people who wake up before breakfast if they talk about it. From now on, we will offer it. And if you remember well, our coffee is a lot better than the one at the store on...

We arranged a breakfast visit with my sister & brother-in-law, who stayed here. Their room although small was adequate & nicely decorated, & had AC, a firm bed, private bath & shower, ultra clean. This B&B is a true charmer, set on the edge of a stream behind high cedar hedges (very relaxing & private). The hosts Pierre & Christine...

A great Band B. The owner is an artist and he has decorated the whole place with paintings. BEautiful porch and garden. The whole place is spotless! Breakfast was excellent.we ate on the porch with two other couples and sat around chatting for two hours! We only had one problem. We are big people and the room was very small....

Thank you for this excellent review. Since you reserved while all the other rooms were booked, we did not have the choice of giving you our smallest room. We are sorry about that and hope to see you soon... it will be a pleasure to reserve in one of our other rooms! Pierre & Christine

I happened upon this darling b&b while searching online for a stop between Quebec City and Montreal during our Canadian adventure. I am so happy I found Au Chant de l'Onde. They are located smack downtown in a quaint village within a 2 minute walk to a terrific local bistro with a beautiful terrace. The b&b sits on a picturesque...
