The B&B was right on the square, nice cosy room. The B&B has plenty of character as did the whole town. Stunning views and some nice restaurants. Great place for an overnight stay while you explore the hill town.
What an amazing B&B in such a wonderful setting! The location on the main square of this stunning little hilltop town is perfect and so quiet when the tourists have left! The building is very old and full of character, the rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful beamed ceilings and very quaint windows! We did not meet Franco the owner, but the two ladies who looked after us on arrival and during our meal in the wonderful trattoria were very kind and helpful. The food was very tasty and the service first class! Pedestrian access is the only way to reach Civita Di Bagnoregio but free parking is available under the bridge for Franco's guests and a tractor service can be booked by prior arrangement to take your luggage up the long and very steep road to the village. The €5 entrance fee to the village is also waived when staying at the B&B. Continental breakfast is served in the cafe across the square. It was a nice experience to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy the peace and quiet before the tourists turned up. Civita Di Bagnoregio is an amazing little town with absolutely stunning views all around. It feels like going back in time and is an experience not to be missed. Lots of nice restaurants, cafes and gift shops which were mostly all opened despite visiting at the end of the season.…
Cozy and friendly, the Civita B&B was exactly what we hoped for. The bathrooms were small, but that's to be expected in a place of this age. The rooms were great with beamed ceilings and window to the rising sun. Half board was great, homemade pasta with truffle sauce! We were welcomed like family and enjoyed a great visit in a beautiful town. I highly recommend Civita and the B&B.
We had an amazing apartment, great location and the staff was friendly! Breakfast was continental which was a bit of a bummer but the old town is amazingly cool. Get up early for great photo opportunities.
Franco and his staff made me feel welcome, as they did with the two other families staying on the day I was there. It really is worth the quiet of an overnight stay when all of the day visitors have left the town, and the quiet sets in (and the cats come out!) wifi was excellent. There is no air conditioning - but this wasn't an issue for me (even on one of the hortest days of the summer - about 37 degrees celsius) as there was a fan right by the bed, and I slept with the window open (something which, for a light sleeper like me could have been a problem, but wasn't because of the unequalled tranquilitty of civita at night!) A thoroughly pleasant stay!
