The bed was wonderful. The bath was nice and large. Being on top of a gastro pub is excellent. The food (breakfast and dinner) was really good and the staff is very friendly. The location is convenient for exploring Somerset county.

Last minute booking for a bird watching trip to the Somerset levels. We thought we were booking a pub. The Swan is way better than that. The bedroom was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The welcome when we arrived was great even giving us a jug of fresh milk for our tea. The dinner was also outstanding. We absolutely...

We went on Saturday for our first night after our wedding day, we booked somewhere small and boutique like that felt special and wasn't going to cost the earth. We had a beautiful bedroom with a bath tub in the room. The room was clean and lovely. We had such a wonderfully chilled afternoon. We then went for a beautiful...

Amazing food, extremely helpful staff and a stunning place to stay in one of England's little Elysiums'. The bath is huge and 'advantageous' so relax and enjoy your soaks! Car park was reported as small but frankly not a concern there is parking all over. We will be back.

We decided to pop in for lunch with no reservation, on a Thursday lunchtime shortly after NY. There were a few people in having coffees, but nobody yet eating. Asked for a table for 2 & were advised to sit anywhere in the bar, so we took our drinks & sat down. It's usually table service, but after 20 minutes...

My wife remembers the Swan from 20 years ago. But apart from the facade everything has changed and Wow! Lovely big wide welcoming bar, a couple of spacious dining rooms, what is certainly a lovely garden in good weather and stylish loos. (Though have the only gents cubicle "out of order" was a bit slovenly. However - great service and...

Cleaners not the most descreet, woke us up by dragging chairs I appreciate it has to be cleaned for the morning. Fans for the kitchen again was noisy,...
