Lovely chalet type rooms with verandah and visiting Pukekoes! (Don't feed them though). Scott and Jocelyn the owners really go to efforts to help make your stay exceptional and they give excellent recommendations for activities. The outdoor spa is a big tub and great fun but you have to book it. Lovely place to stay.

We stayed here the first night of doing the Abel Tasman Track organized by Abel Tasman Tours. Scott the owner and his wife are very friendly and well organized . The units were clean and comfortable. In the back there are multiple birds feeding in the grass. The Lodge is a very short walk to the start of the track...

We stayed here a couple of nights ago, sadly just for 1 night, we'd have loved to have stayed longer! The accommodation is fantastic and in such a beautiful setting. What really topped it for us was the customer service. Scott was very welcoming and gave us some great advice for our onward journey which was really appreciated.

Stayed here for 3 nights, from the outside the lodge looks rustic, we opened the door & wow, immaculately clean modern interiors, really comfortable beds, a lounge & kitchen area to prepare meals. The bathrooms were beautiful with walk in shower. Location was very convenient a short walk to either the national park or the beach, we were very lucky...

The hotel is in a great location adjacent to the park and a very good base for travels in the area. We stayed several days and drove to Farewell Spit and other areas in and around Abel Tasman. They helped us book the water taxis and made suggestions on walking routes. The hotel is convenient to several restaurants and a...

We stopped here on our way over to G. Bay with our 1yr old and didn't want to leave. We were checked into our room (Kowhai) and the distant memory of the cold London night on which we had briefly seen the photos when booking sprung vividly into reality: The garden is up to Japanese standards in terms of creating...

It’s hard to add anything new to the glowing reviews here, except to say “Hear, hear! We wholeheartedly agree!” Scott & Jocelyn are such gracious hosts, extremely helpful and flexible, made it easy to leave our car while we went on our 3-day kayak trip (highly recommend), and have an adorable daughter. They have thought of everything with their well-equipped,...
