My adult son and I spend time together camping with 29 ft trailer. We loved the park. It has great beach, salt water indoor swimming pool, walking trails where we found wild raspberries to pick. lots of free activities for kids...floating trampoline, game room, basketball court and many rental supplies...canoes, etc. The roads were not dusty, great for bicycles and I could use my 3 wheel motorized senior rider with ease. The staff is friendly...well maintained grounds..very clean. We will be returning and highly recommend it.

From the moment we checked in we moved this place. Such friendly people, invited us to join for drinks. Facilities are beautiful and clean. The indoor pool was a nice touch. A little right pulling in a large camper but people helpful in guiding. Waterfront beach, rafts and water trampolines, boats for rent, clean bathrooms and laundry, overall would say it’s one of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay from June 13-17 /22 and would recommend to anyone looking to getaway to a quiet spot by the water. We rented cottage #6 a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom and had plenty of space as this is the smallest of all the cottages . There is a shower, vanity and toilet in the bathroom and the kitchen was equipped with most of what you will need. The covered deck was a bonus as we spend all of our warm weather days outside as much as possible. There was a ceiling fan to help keep the air moving on extra hot days and a BBQ for grilling. There are 4 chairs for around the fire pit and 4 chairs and a table on the deck. The wood is provided by the resort and is restocked daily or as needed. The beach and docks are very close by and they have a few walking trails around the resort. There is an indoor salt water pool and hot tub, just remember to bring your towel and key as a fob is needed to gain access to this space. We brought our little dog with us as 8 of the 9 cottages are pet friendly. Cottages are clean and well maintained. Beach area is cleaned and raked daily with volleyball and a water trampoline for use. There is a games room by the pool area and an outdoor play area as well.
Beautiful resort and location. About an hour drive to Algonquin Park as we toured the Logging Museum, Visitor Centre and hiked 5 of the trails. We hope to return next year in June.

We have family here in Canada and love coming to stay at Pine Cliff Resort. We've been staying here since 2010 and the serene setting is exactly what we need every year. Cottage 1A has the best view of the amazing sunsets and we can watch the water all day from our roomy porch with a grill big enough (and always fueled) to feed our whole family and more. The pine trees surrounding us sing in the breeze as we gaze at the stars by the fire every night. The same crew combs the sand each morning and replenishes our firewood. We are just steps from the beach and this year had our Jetski docked not far from our cottage. Exploring the lake daily is a must! The workout room, pool, hot tub and game room are still favorites of ours and our teenagers. There are stores for groceries, hardware, outdoor supplies, all of your needs just a short drive from the resort. There's a Farmer's Market every Friday with wonderful goods from local artisans, gardeners, naturalists, bakers and brewers in Barry's Bay on your way into town behind the Canadian Legion.

Pine cliff resort is a little piece of heaven. We've stayed in cottage 4 for three consecutive years. It has everything you need and the cottages and grounds are immaculately maintained. The cottages are nestled in big beautiful birch trees which offer great shade and come with linens/pillows (all of which are very clean), full kitchen set up (plates, cutlery, bowls, knives, can/wine opener, cheese grater, pots/pans, cutting boards etc.), dishwasher and good internet TV. With cottage rentals, you also get firewood that is restocked daily and access to kayaks/pattleboards. The beach is amazing!
Groomed daily, with 4 shelter huts (fist come first serve, so go early if you want one) and has a big trampoline in the water which is a big hit with the kids. My only complaint with cottage 4 is the king size bed. It's rock hard and uncomfortable. I'd suggest a mattress topper if you'll be staying in this cottage. Other than that, it's a wonderful place to escape, relax and rejuvenate. I would highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly and always choosing to please guests. The cottage #4 we stayed in was very clean, comfortable and had all the necessities. The property is always very well kept with a great beach area that is always groomed. Free access to canoes and kayaks is a nice plus. We highly recommend Pine Cliff.

Pine Clift is a beautiful resort , quiet and relaxing. Amenities are available within a short 15 minute drive to Barry’s Bay.
The beach area is beautifully maintained, and the mix of cottages owner cottages, and camping is nice.
The resort offers a free heated indoor pool and rec area for those days when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

We rented cottage 2 this year, it was a 2 bedroom as opposed to the 3 bedroom in the previous year. For 3 adults the 2 bedroom cottage was a little small. Cottage 2 also did not have any clothes dressers in the bedrooms, so putting a weeks clothing on shelves was not great. Cottage 2 also did not have a dishwasher, we like being pampered!
Cottage 2 does however have the best view of the 8 cottages, overlooking the beach and the river.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

We've been coming to Pine Cliff for the past ten years (one week each summer). The kids love it as there is all sorts of things to do (indoor pool, beach, water trampolines, basketball court, hiking, canoeing, fishing etc.) all right at the resort. The grounds and cottages are IMMACULATE. Brian, Anita and the staff do an incredible job of keeping everything spotless, up-to-date and in good repair. The sand beach (which is raked daily) is amazing and the river is a great spot to swim (no weeds, etc.). We've stayed in cottage 2 and 1A and they are amazing. Our kids are ages 4, 11 and 14 and they all love it each year. Honestly can't say enough good things about Pine Cliff!

Nice resort/camp ground. Very clean. Due to Covid the washrooms & showers were not open so cannot comment on those. All lots are shaded by large pine trees so there is little grass, however there is lots of gravel to keep the lots clean.
My only criticism is that the map of the park is VERY deceptive , the lots are MUCH closer together than they appear and as the trees are large (and beautiful) they offer no privacy.

There are some lovely trails where we were able to run our dogs off leash safely.

A quick getaway, three days at Pine Cliff left us feeling as refreshed as though we’d been vacationing for a month. Cabin was impeccably clean, well equipped and comfortable. The beds were very comfy. Surroundings are beautiful and serene, the smell of white pine fills the fresh country air, loon calls rounding out the perfection. The indoor saltwater pool was lovely, and we had a ball playing ping-pong and pool. Staff make you feel like you’re among old friends, and a warm sense of community abounds, without being intrusive or overbearing. Barry’s Bay is a hop skip and a jump away, and has two grocery stores, a pharmacy, LCBO, beer store, and Tim Horton’s. We booked our next stay before leaving the property. Highly recommend - but maybe don’t tell everyone, we’d be crushed if we couldn’t get future reservations!
