Great mountain and river views. Well equipped room although the motel room only has a fridge and kettle. A microwave is available in the laundry. Wonderful lap pool. We had a free upgrade to a villa the second night which was fantastic. Very close to Mona which was excellent. Wifi very slow

Riverfront Motel and Villas have a variety of accommodation; motel rooms, self contained 1 and 2 bedroom villas, and 3 houses with 3, 4 or 5 bedrooms. Situated right on the river front at Rosetta it is reasonably priced accommodation only minutes from MONA and Moorilla Estate winery. We chose this accommodation because one of our group was running the...

Didn't stay here but came to the restaurant, which was really busy. A great outlook towards the Derwent River from in front of the villas, with historical information about the motel and surrounds. They grow their own vegetables which is really nice too. Staff were friendly and happy to help. I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb quinoa salad and drinks were...

We had a 2 bedroom villa for 3 nights during our ride around Tas November 2016 The staff at the restaurant and the reception desk were excellent, very friendly and helpful. the meals large and good. The extensive grounds were peaceful and would be good to let the kids have a run around.

On our first visit to Tasmania we were recommended this hotel as a good base. Location was good close to the airport and easy to access the motorway to the City or north. Rooms was basic, clean and reasonably comfy however noise from adjoining rooms and the arriving tour buses was disturbing. The continental breakfast was cheap and fulfilling. We...

Stayed here two nights in the Villa, 2 bedrooms with kitchen and lounge area. Abit basic and dated but did the job, everything worked. It even had a washing machine and tumble dryer! Close to Hobart if you have a car to use, Mona is literally a 10 minute walk away.

We needed to stay close to MONA, which it was. The kitchen and bath were clean but the place overall needs a revamp. Dingy. It reminds me of a place one would rent right out of college. Looked out the window of the villa to see the woman in the villa next door on her step in pajamas smoking. Carpets...

Right on the river, close to shopping, food, gas. Picnic spot and benches are right out side the unit, and the grounds are well maintained. Good staff. Restaurant on site, but not used. A short drive to Hobart.

Stayed in the mansion, needs lots of work done very old and out dated. Power kept turning off in main lounge room and was very cold. It had good views of the river from most rooms, good place to stay for a large group

Spent a couple of nights in one of the 2 bedroom villa units to attend nearby business meetings. Easy access off the Brooker Hwy. Pleasant service at check in. The villa unit was spacious, modern, well appointed and very comfortable. Home away from home and would be just fine for an extended stay. The grounds of the motel are really...
