Very disappointed in this establishment. The entrance is cramped, the signage not visible enough. The room is comfortable, the bedding is very good but the bathroom is quite dilapidated, the shower joints are deteriorated. The water pressure is very very insufficient! For ecological reasons, the accessories normally provided are only on request (cotton swab, charlotte, etc), the first day we did not even have tissues in the room. The mini-bar comes down to two bottles of still and sparkling water. The breakfast is far below what one would expect from such an establishment! The choice is limited (one cheese, for example, Emmental), the products are inexpensive (scrambled eggs are more like a sponge) and the coffee machine is unique and extremely long. The MGallery Nest Hotel was recently renovated and redecorated following its former life as a Sofitel. It is located in the heart of the La Defense business district, with plenty of nearby shops, cafes and restaurants, but also close to the Metro Line 1 which connects directly with the tourist heart of Paris. It is therefore ideal for business or leisure stays.
The redecoration is a vibrant and colourful ‘boutique’ design with extravagant and abstract colours and patterns on the walls and carpets, and a bar/restaurant that has hints of an Arabian souk.
The room was comfortable and quite spacious with views out over the main esplanade of La Defense. It benefitted from a sofa, refrigerator, coffee/tea supplies, decent wardrobe space. I would have liked a work desk, as it was a little uncomfortable using a laptop from the small coffee table. The bathroom was generously sized with good toiletries. The room was serviced by housekeeping every day (unlike hotels in the UK where housekeeping has been curtailed).
The bar and restaurant were attractive. Breakfast was a good range of hot and cold buffet items, although my four breakfast sessions overall were a little disappointing (no pork sausages, only poultry; every table I used seemed to wobble, the buffet was often allowed to run out on some items, and I was missed out being offered coffee on one occasion). The staff were generally friendly and helpful though.
Overall, this is a comfortable hotel with attractive décor and decent accommodation. Although some elements were not totally satisfying, overall I’d recommend it.

Very nice hotel for visiting the La Défense arena. Short walk to the metro M1 into central Paris. We walked to the Arena to see the Taylor Swift concert. We felt safe walking back at night. The Uber driver did have a challenge finding the hotel so be sure they know where they are dropping you off in the under ground area below the hotel. The cafe was closed on Sunday which was unfortunate but we had a very nice pizza and drink there when we arrived. Breakfast was pretty typical for this type of hotel. Be sure that it’s included in your room rate. Beds were very soft with pillow topper, bathrooms were clean and perfectly acceptable. I would recommend.

Who gave this hotel 5 stars rating? Taxis don't stop at the hotel from 10 pm to 5am, because streets are closed. Elevator from the ground floor to the lobby was constantly broken, you have to take your luggage by yourself because they don't have anyone to help with luggage. 5 star hotel? Breakfast is very poor, at a 3 star hotel you will get a much better breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, not by the standards of 5 star hotels, not even close. Excellent hotel for those who have to go to La Defense. The very welcoming room was equipped with all comforts, we stayed there for three nights, the only note - a bit curious for me - is why they didn't replenish the tea and coffee capsules supplied with the room itself. For the rest, everything is in order, perhaps, but I think this is a problem linked to some issue regarding television rights. The Italian RAI channels were listed but the signal was then absent. The hotel, if we want to make a note, lacks a real hall and the entrance is not particularly large and visible from the outside, a clarification I make only as a starting point for growth. Very badly received this Tuesday 08 October 2024 at 18h15 by the receptionist of the Pension Nest. While I had a Reservation Voucher prepaid by my company via American Express, she asks me my CB, not having it, she tells me in a different tone of "world..." and in front of the other customers who were waiting, "I do not give you your room until I have your CB and next time you do not return...". From the start this hotel was so bad. Beware your Uber/taxi or anything gps will not take you to hotels exact location. It was always a long walk to another hotel to be picked up by Ubers. Also, they only restock one bottle of water per day! Called front desk one day after a long day out and asked for water and they said sorry no room service after 9pm! No local store to buy water at night, everything is very far. Do not recommend, Paris was great but this hotel made my stay very uncomfortable the whole time.

This was our first stay at this hotel and have to say my expectations were well and truly exceeded. The front desk staff were not the perfunctory lot you would typically find in a five-star establishment. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out after a 2-week stay, the level of service with a rare personal touch was consistent throughout. Alban, Margaux, Justine and Clotille are the gold standard in providing a great customer experience. Our room was well-presented, spacious and provided a welcome refuge after a long day soaking up the beautiful sights of Paris. whilst the bed and duck feather pillows were really comfortable. Location wise, the hotel is a short stroll to Metro Line 1 with main attractions like Arc de Triomphe & Avenue Champs Elysees merely a few minutes away.
