After a hike at Chute-a-bulles (highly recommend!) we spent the night here. Excellent service, spotless rooms and property, so relaxing, Julie gave us the best massages we've ever had. The food is top notch. Diamond in the rough! Can't wait to go back. Highly highly highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
Excellent hotel, well placed literrally 4 minutes walk from Val Saint-Côme ski mountain, beautiful site, the food was amazing with great choice for every taste. The room was clean and comfortable, we took a 90 minutes massage and were please with our therapist. We night recommend this place! 👌
We reserved an overnight stay at the Auberge Aux Quatre Matins as we were taking advantage of the surrounding areas. The room was clean, big and very comfortable. The Queen bed was on a mezzanine area with a small staircase that cannot be suitable for just anyone. The spa facilities in the backyard are meticulous, beautiful landscaping and extremely clean. However, we were lucky that it was a cloudy day and no one was using the amenities as the area is not as big in order to accommodate larger groups of people at once without interfering in each other's space. For us, it was a perfect day and we enjoyed it very much the privacy we had, felt like our own private spa in your backyard. We did not eat at the restaurant on site, as the selection offered were more on the pricey side for what we were looking for to spend on diner. The Breakfast menu did not have a huge selection, we ended up paying an additional $25 for espresso/Latte coffees and an extra bagel with an additional service fee that is automatically added. I would rate the food as average for what I am usually used to eating for breakfast. Otherwise, all around we were pleasantly surprised by our stay and enjoyed it very much.…
We had an amazing time here! Everything was on the highest standard! Breakfast, food, Wi-Fi, everything included! The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We communicated before and while on site and we had a great stay! I would definitely recommend it!
We've been travelling in Quebec for some weeks now but this was our most disappointing and most expensive stay so far. First of all, they charged us a big tip without asking if/how much you'd like to tip, which I have never seen before in Québec and which I don't find very polite. The only positive point must be their 'bains nordiques', which are quite nice. Our room was prettig big, but really outdated. The double bed is so tiny you can barely call it a double bed. The breakfast isn't nice (industrial food) and for each little extra that seems normal (for example some bread with your breakfast), you're charged outrageous extra money. There are so many super nice B&B's in this area that offer much more comfort, hospitality and great breakfasts for MUCH lower prices. So, I'd rather recommend you to go somewhere else!…
A great place to get away and relax..rooms are super cozy, I stayed in the deluxe suite... very clean well kept and food menu breakfast included was a great choice and gourmet style. Was super impressed... spa water could be hotter but all in all was a great stay.. highly recommended for relaxation...the gentlemen at the counter was super helpful and nice... I arrived past hours after 10pm and he had placed my key for me to find easily... can't ask for more 😀
My wife and I recently stayed there for 3 nights late in ski season (it is a 2 minute walk to an average ski hill in the Laurentians). The location is nice and quiet, though front facing rooms do look onto the parking area/road. But the road is fairly quiet and unlikely to be a bother. Our room faced the back (west view) and was exceptionally quiet. There are a few outdoor hot baths in the back (nice after a day of hiking or skiing), but they shut them down at 10 pm so there is no late partying going on. The auberge (we referred to it more as a B&B) was nicely appointed and impeccably clean. Everything in our room was in good working order. The room was cleaned daily and towels were replaced if necessary. The tv could have had a better channel selection, but we weren't there for TV viewing. Included breakfast was tasty, but from a limited menu (and with virtually no flexibility to order anything different). We had hoped to have dinners at the Auberge restaurant - in fact the restaurant reviews were one of the reasons we booked this particular B&B - but my wife is vegetarian and there was nothing on the menu for her (again with the lack of menu flexibility). Overall, a very nice 3 night stay.…
Me and 2 more girlfriends went to this hotel for 1 night trip. We arrived late but the hotel placed a note and key at front door, which is very cute. We got to our room without any problem. Hotel's small but our room was perfect for 3. One good size bedroom with second bed upstair. Breakfast was healthy and supper good. Spa was very good also. Nothing to complain. I plan to go back with my kids this autumn for hiking and see colour of leaves. Hope they accept kids. I just love this place, it's perfect and good price.
My husband and I first stayed at Auberge aux Quatre Matins for skiing at St. Come, but since then we have returned several times in all seasons just for a relaxing gettaway, and for hiking in the Forêt Ouareau park nearby. The owners' attention to detail is always impeccable. The room is always extremely clean and comfortable, the dinners are delicious and the spa is also great. We have never been disappointed. Dominic the owner/manager always goes over and above to make sure our visit is enjoyable. We will definitely continue to return!
A wonderful 1-night stay in a big room. I enjoyed the spa (twice) & the craft beer on tap in the dining room/lounge. A short downhill walk to the ski hill Lodge and an even shorter walk to the Contour ski run to access the lifts. I'll be back next year for sure!
