A lovely hotel with beautiful gardens deep in the Lancashire countryside. Private dining available and stylish gazebo for weddings. Extensive menus and lunches are particularly good value. Friendly staff and personally managed by the owner/manager.

This is a privately run hotel and restaurant and on this occasion we had lunch, which was excellent. The food was well presented, the staff are very attentive and on top of all the the gardens are absolutely stunning.

When a customer draws attention to mistakes that result from poor management, it is beholden on the hotel owner to apologise and rectify those faults.
