We had a great overnight stay at the Gibbon Bridge and would definitely recommend the dinner B&B package. I would agree with some reviewers that the decor of parts of the hotel has a 70's/80's feel about it, but this is more than made up for by some of the best food we've had in a long time, a very...

My husband had visited with a luncheon group some months ago and suggested we went with friends for lunch this last week. Super outing! Great ambiance, excellent and professional service by pleasant staff. The food is outstanding in quality and presentation. We ( and our friends ) will be back in the New Year.

Gibbon Bridge is well off the beaten track. The word unique is overused but in this case it is deserved for all the right reasons. It is one remarkable woman's endeavour in converting the family farm into a dream country hotel. This part of Lancashire is beautiful and I cannot imagine a better location from which to explore it.

Absolutely beautiful.. The food and superb service were second to none. We have never visited this wonderful hotel before but will certainly be back soon. The staff are a credit to Janet Simpson, the owner, and the setting is truly delightful. Thankyou to one and all. JRB.

Stayed (alas) for only 1 night meeting friends from Surrey who were staying for a couple of days. I spoke on the phone before arrival, to a very friendly Receptionist. Think it was Judith (hope I have the name right) she was excellent and what a brilliant ambassador for the Hotel. Upon arrival she remembered our conversation and welcomed us...

A little out of the way but all the better for it. Beautiful restaurant in wonderful setting. Food, wine list and service first rate and not overly priced. Highly recommended, particularly for a special occasion.

It has been a couple of years since my husband and I stayed here. There has been quite a few changes throughout the Hotel. Some are really great others we are not so sure of. The extension in the restaurant/function space is excellent and can really show off the beauty of the grounds. Really like the buffet area as breakfast...

My Wife & I have had lunch there on numerous occasions. The lunch menu has finally been updated, however this is mainly for my Wife as I eat my standard fare of fish chips & mushy peas. The food is really first class & a pat on the back to the Chef & would say he or she does the...

I stayed here while on a business trip and found the grounds to be stunning and full of greenery there is an onsite bakery that's amazing! My only issue would have been that the staff are not very warm towards you, and the rooms are slightly out of date
