Me and my partner received a weekend away at Wolfen Mill as a Christmas present. I couldn't wait to go as the website showed such beautiful apartments. The apartments are in a beautifully tranquil area, the mill is fabulously well kept with a decking area overlooking a pond. We stayed in The Saddlery, which was fantastically sized for the two...

We stayed for 3 nights in Bowland Bower. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. Luxury bedlinen, towels and bathrobes. I slept like a log on the comfortable bed, so did my other half. Spacious living area, but very cosy with a real flame stove. We spent 2 nights out of the 3 in front of the fire...

We stayed for a week in "Bluebell" and really enjoyed it. The bed is huge so couldn't find hubby. Good bath sheets and dressing gowns and everything you need for a relaxing break. A mile away from the village, 20 mins walk and you could get whatever you needed. Some really good walks around too. It was freezing cold but...

Wonderful to hear of your stay at Wolfen Mill. Its still freezing cold here but with blue skies and just a hint of spring in the air. The snowdrops are out now giving a lovely splash of colour and the days opening out a little longer to. Hope we might welcome you back again soon. Michael.

The place and the accommodation exceeded our expectation and was ideal. The very best of self catering accommodation although the pub grub in the village meant we ate little at home as that was also excellent. Every detail was covered down to candles around the fireplace and your own quality dressing gowns in the wardrobe. Weather was awfull but it...

We stayed in the Courtyard Cottage for a week along with our dog. It is furnished to a good standard and is also relatively remote so if you're looking to get away from it all this is just perfect. The owner was very helpful in providing us with local places to visit and also made sure the cottage was kept...

No Snow at the moment, its beautiful when it does come down and well done to our local authority who help with the roads always being so well gritted. Spring just around the corner. Happy days ahead. Thanks for visiting and for your lovely review of us.

Stayed three nights at Wolfen Mill near Chipping, Lancs. A luxurious self catering break. Very good accommodation. We chose Bluebell Studio as we felt it would be warm and cosy with a 6' bed. Set in an old stone mill building which had been renovated to a high standard, there were various styles of accommodation. High quality furnishings and fittings,...

The cottage we stayed in was really nice (Curlews Nest). Every thing you need to use for the self catering stay is provided and all of excellent quality. The cottages are in a lovely position and you have a shared lounge and decking overlooking a wonderful duck pond, very peaceful and relaxing. Lots of help and information in the room...

We booked out the entire plane for a family celebration. My Husband and I are in the seperate detached cottage which is really lovely. Everything you need, but might have forgotten, is here. It's clean, warm and cosy too. Plenty of storage in the bedroom, clean, small but perfectly formed bathroom, t.v and stereo downstairs and good Wifi connection too...
