We loved our stay here. We stayed for one night after motor biking for several hours and the room was very clean and cosy. We booked the spa before breakfast and it was lovely! Great jacuzzi. The staff were super friendly, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic- highly recommend eating outside with the great views of Mount Blanc.

We stayed here and opted for the included dinner specials. The hotel inside the restaurant was very comfortable and the staff took very good care of us. The options provided by the restaurant were fantastic and who doesn't love some authentic Raclette! We always found room for dessert as well! Everything was very clean and organized. I can't emphasize enough how friendly and helpful the staff were, they really made our trip special. They were able to recommend things for us to do and tips for getting around as we did not have a car. The location was amazing, being able to basically ski into your changing room was a major plus for us. Also, being in the center of the village made a nice option for apres- ski activities and easy access to the other restaurants, bars, and stores. The village of Montchavin was absolutely perfect in size, busy enough to enjoy others company but not overcrowded to the point where you couldn't get a table or find a place to grab a drink. Can't wait to come back as soon as possible.

Great booking staff, great waitress. But sadly it went so south because we seemed unwelcome for simply being English. For a ski resort I was dismayed and puzzled not to feel a friendly atmosphere. I will admit we left without paying as we argued with the manager for not agreeing it was the french way to wait an hour and a half for our main course. Such a shame for the evening to end that way. I love montchavin.

The location is perfect right below the bubble to Les Coches. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable with all required amenities. There is even a bath with plenty of hot water. We had half board and ate in the hotels restaurant. Staff were excellent but we were not given menu just told of options which were a bit limited. We had a raclette which was delicious. We rated the hotel as 4 as we did not have a great nights sleep as the noise in hotel carries and we had a family above us whose children were running up and down the corridor. Also the breakfast was a bit limited.

Had a great raclette fumee at €22 each and washed down with a very pleasant bottle of Gamay at €20 Although we were only one of two tables but it is just before Christmas. Efficient and friendly staff. We stayed the night in a room that is a little better than basic but not to expensive at approx €120 b&b for two. Happy Christmas 🎄 Trippers 😀👍‼️
