A beautiful location will be back as soon as possible.the area is perfect for leisure cycling on greenways through ancient forest and vineyards. We spent an idyllic three days at this utterly charming Chateau. The garden is stunning and the house is beautiful. However what makes this wonderful place so perfect is the relaxed charm of the hosts. Barry and his team were welcoming, helpful and very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time in a wonderful location. A...

We stayed with 3 other couples in wonderful Chateau de la Ligne for 4 nights, we were well looked after by Barry and his team and a special mention must go to Simone who cooked for us, advised us and even sang to us! We loved discovering the area of Bordeaux and St Emilion. Could not recommend the entire experience...

My wife and I had our wedding at Chateau de la Ligne last Saturday and it could not have gone any better thanks to Maxine, Barry and Caroline who were superstars, and could not do enough. I cannot recommend the Chateau and its staff highly enough. All I can say, for those of you who have booked the Chateau for...

Currently sitting in the airport at Bordeaux about to jet off to our honeymoon. We've just had the most incredible wedding at the Chateau. We first booked the venue around a year ago and like many couples have hoped it would live up to our dreams. It has, and more. We had a 3-day event, starting with an evening buffet...

We held our wedding at Chateau de la Ligne in October 2015 and everything about it was an absolute dream. Having an American/French wedding with guests from across the globe, this place was perfect to accommodate our many visitors from out of town in the many beautiful rooms they have on site. It was also close enough to Bordeaux and...

We recently stayed here for a close friends wedding and I have to say we throughly enjoyed ourselves both the Gites and the main house were lovely and quite stately but where it really shines is outside. Walking up the main drive from the village you are treated to the rows of vines that supply the chateau with its own...

We looked at this place as a wedding venue but unfortunatly it wasnt large enough to house our wedding party. That said, it was fantastic. It was run by an Irish couple who completely understood our needs and what was expected from an Engllish wedding. The rooms were immaculate and decorated to an extremely high standard and the grounds were...

One of the best places I have ever stayed at in France and beyond. Gorgeous building, surrounded by stunning vines and gardens. Stayed in both the chateau and the gites, quality of both is outstanding, traditional and spacious. Plenty of room to relax around one of the 3 pools and also great staff on hand to help with any issues....

“All of the rooms have their own character. If you are a couple Paris and Venice rooms are beautiful. If it is a family visit the gites would be perfect.”

“All rooms are named after capital cities. Unsurprisingly Paris and London would be considered honeymoon suites, but every room decorated and furnished to a high standard with a lot of attention to detail and comfort. Some rooms are linked and suitable for families.”
