When we tripped over this fabulous place in 2014, with a cycle track nearby, we vowed to return. So we flew from Australia and cycled from Saint-Malo to Carcassonne via Chateau de Crecy. Enough said, almost. This isn't a flash place, but is very comfortable. The hosts Bruno & Martine are gorgeous, and superb cooks, so as well as an excellent...

Everything about this place is amazing. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel at home. We stayed here for just one night as we cycled from Bordeaux to Toulouse. We would have loved to stay longer ! We were served up a fantastic meal (the best of our holidays) and wine from the Chateau. We will definitely...

If I could give this place more than 10 out of 10 I would. It was wonderful. The region is breathtaking. The chateau is beautiful. The owners martine and Bruno were so welcoming and such lovely people. Martines home cooked evening meals are amazing and fantastic value. The wine is out of this world. We stayed for 4 days and...

Our sat nav had no problem in locating this little gem - and what a warm welcome we got on arrival. We were sat down with 'une verre' by a lovely open fire in the sitting/dining room before you could say Jack Robinson. Bruno was in the kitchen preparing the evening meal and the smells emanating from there gave us...

Really good stay. One night only. Room was lovely. We were on bikes from st emilion, not too long a ride, but Bruno had a beer for us on arrival. Appreciated. Great dinner. Sorry Bruno about me not eating foie gras. Tony loved it. Great laughs with the hosts. So welcoming. It was a great alternative to staying in Frontenac....

Bruno and Martine are the best hosts ever!! They are so friendly, thoughtful and kind. And the food was AMAZING! My partner and I had the best time staying with them. Anytime we go back to this region, we will stay here. it's a beautiful place that feels like a real home!

Exceptional one night stay at "Chateau de Crecy". The owners Bruno and Martine made us feel extremely welcome and our room was lovely and full of personal touches. Our eight year old son loved his cosy bed! We experienced dinner and breakfast in traditional "French style", Martine's home cooking was superb and we enjoyed sampling the local wine. We had...

Perfect place to relax and visit St Emilion and surroundings and I suggest to have dinner with the owners. The owners Marte and Brunno are very friendly. The room we booked was big and clean. The breakfast was wide and delicious.

To be honest, I rather would not review this wonderful place to make sure that we have to opportunity to stay here again without booking years in advance. Pleasant hosts (Martine & Bruno), nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, good breakfast and nice wine, enjoyable table d'hote, and located in a rural area (with St Emilion and other beautiful spots close...

A small quiet chateau beautifully run by Martine and Bruno - the latter cooks the most wonderful evening meals with wine from the Chateau. Delicious. Our room was comfortable and quiet - the mobile air conditioning was needed as it was very hot - but too noisy to keep on at night - that would be my only minor gripe....
