Hotel well situated and accessible close to the highway, along a main road but a quiet room at the back with view on the garden ! Excellent friendly reception as well by receptionniste ( accompanies to your room wich becomes rare ), at apero at the bar and the restaurant perfectly counseled by the friendly head waiter ! Olivia on the reception desk was lovely, friendly and helpful. The noise from the road is bad so better to get a room at the rear. Very comfortable bed. Great seating areas outside where one can have dinner and breakfast too, weather permitting. MOSQUITOES AND MIDGES a big problem though! We had "Pop" bedroom but there was no bathroom door!... More

We were booked in this hotel, but it is in the middle of nowhere (nearest town is 5 miles away) and it's right on the main road. It's a big square stone building, looked okay from the outside, but we couldn't get past the location and lack of things to do while there...even for one night. We were on bikes... More

A good stay starts with a warm welcome and this was certainly the case with the lady at the reception desk. We felt very welcome! The hotel is based in a large, converted mansion and decorated in a pleasant, modern style. The interior architect did a great job. The lounge area at the ground floor was very elegant and pleasant.... More

Overall disappointing although the hotel seems to have everything to become a good hotel..We did not get the feeling we were really welcome . Rather than "une table remarquable" the restaurant was rather pretentious and lacked flair not only with the cooking but also with the service.Overall not good value for money.

Convenient place to stop on the way back from the Alps to Marseille, with a nice restaurant. Very quiet on the night we stayed but all the staff were very cheerful and friendly. Not much English spoken but we were in France!

The staff and public areas of the hotel were excellent, but the room and decor was very dark and a little dated. The food was excellent. The hotel seems to concentrate more on food than accommodation.

On the route Napoleon, la Magnanerie is great place to stay if you are visiting Sisteron and the region. It has a lovely garden for an aperitif, friendly staff, modern bedrooms and really good restaurant.

My family and I spent one night there on our way to Provence. We were really surprised by the high level of service for such a 3* hotel. Our suite was large, comfortable and well appointed. Terrace on the backyard is great to enjoy pre-dinner drinks. Dinner was outstanding with both food and service worthy of a gourmet starred restaurant.... More

A lucky find really, which would have received an excellent rating had our room been better. The place seems more like a fine restaurant with a few rooms attached, because dinner was exceptional. More so as we were able to take it on the terrace. Dog friendly. Peaceful garden.
