Booked on the day Lisane was a wonderful hostess. Room fab and staying in December it was a lovely touch of an electric blanket even though the room was toasty. Breakfast fab. An excellent place to stay

My wife and I stayed for a week in Gite #1. Very comfortable, with a living room, bedroom (really, really comfortable bed) bathroom and kitchen. All appliances and utensils are provided. (Including a washing machine!). We opted to have breakfast the first couple of days, and Lisanne provided a great spread of local delicacies (you can opt for a full...

Have just stayed here for 3 nights in the Rustic bedroom. The room is beautiful and has just about everything you need right down to 2 pairs of slippers (No TV but this was never missed by us. We were grape picking and far too busy/tired to watch TV). The property has featured on TV in "Four in a Bed"...

Our 4 night stay with Lisanne at Les Chimeres was a rich experience. The accommodation is very comfortable and every detail is thoughtful. The breakfast was a delight of varied tastes of multiple kinds and proper tea. Lisanne has a wealth of local knowledge and could not have been more helpful. A scarf left behind by mistake was returned in...

If you need somewhere to stop in this region, then look no further. Lisanne put us in one of the gites as the b&b rooms were full - it was beatifully light and airy and extremely comfortable. And the views are fabulous! The food is also well worth stopping for: we greatly enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast. Lisanne...

And I would say that you do need to experience here to really appreciate it. Great welcome. Very relaxed hostess trusting completely.. so different to the attitude we encountered the following day where rules abounded... full of lovely bits.. especially in the bathroom... and a proper Table d'hotes in that the owner dined with us.. which is how it should...

Thank you so much for writing a review...glad you enjoyed your stay. 'Old bed' ... Henri II copy dating from 1911...but new slatted bed base and mattress make all the difference! Hope to see you again some summer's day?!

Just back from a 3 night stay in Puyleroque! Wonderful gite with excellent views. Breakfast was different each day with many delights. Lisannes lemon curd was exquisite. The gite was clean, welcoming & well equipped with a stunning view through picture book shutters.

Perfectly detailed and exceptionally spacious rooms; warm and engaging hosts; creatively presented and beautifully prepared breakfasts. Excellent value. Located in a historic hill top village with stunning views of rolling verdant hills and woods. A place to linger in this tranquil region of France.

Susan and I spent a week in August in this wonderful old village. We stayed in one of the gites which form part of Les Chimeres and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is very reasonably priced and so well equipped. Next time I visit I will not bring tea bags, washing up liquid etc. Lisanne is a very...

We would thoroughly recommend the en-suite bedroom at the front of the house. We had a great view over the surrounding fields, the bed was comfortable; the decor rustic and colourful; the bathroom well stocked. The hearty breakfast was sufficient to take us right through to mid-afternoon. Much of it was either made by Lisanne or sourced locally. The restaurant...
