Located 300 m from highway 117, the Motel Ours Bleu offers rest and peace on a small island on the edge of Lake Saguay in the Laurentians.
All rooms have a terrace and a breathtaking view on the lake. The WIFI is free.
We are at only 29 km south from Mont-Laurier and at 80 km north from Mont-Tremblant. At 400 m from the motel, you will find yourself on the 200 km long bike path "P'tit Train du Nord". A garage is at your disposal on site to store your bicycles.
During winter, the bike path becomes the snowmobile trail #63 that provides access to more than 3.000 km of hiking.
We also offer packages for ATV, snowmobiles and bicycles.
It is the ideal place to rest during your journey on the "Transcanadian".
We welcome you summer and winter !
This was an amazing setting located on an island back in the woods. Complete with the sound of loons in the evening. The restaurant within walking distance was excellent with good value for the money. They also served a very nice breakfast.
Enjoyed our snowmobile trip in Canada and rode over 440 miles in 2-1/2 days in this area. We stayed 2 nights at Motel Ours Bleu. Owners Amanda and Walter are friendly and welcoming! Thank you for a great stay! We left our truck and trailer there to ride to another lodge for a super trip. Very clean and affordable and floors were heated. Local restaurants are nice and good food. Thank you!
Hi, Three of us snowmobilers chose this motel for it's location to great trails. The management let us leave our truck and trailer there for the week. We lodged at the motel our first and last night of our adventure. I can safely say I have never stayed in a cleaner motel. Heated floors, wow, they were great. A ten minute walk to a very nice restaurant was no problem! Well managed, quiet motel, views so good. Try it, you'll like it. The very best trail system at your doorstep.
Our family was cycling the Petit Train du Nord bicycle trail, and Lac Saguay was the stopover on our first day out, about 20km (18mi) from our start point of Mont Laurier. While it's certainly possible to ride further in a day, we were unsure both of the trail conditions and our own abilities so planned to ease into an overall 200+km (125mile or so) ride. The approach to the motel is well indicated by a road sign on the trail, and is only about a km off the trail though across a busy road. It's situated far enough off the road to feel remote, and right on a quiet lake so you really feel "away from it all". The room was spotlessly clean, and well appointed. Ours had two double beds, a small dinette suite that could seat four, a large counter, with fridge, microwave, and kettle.…
We were two families and we spent one night and wished could stay for another one.. Amazing, quiet and restful place and kids loved it. The place is super clean, and everything is complete in the room( beverage/hair dryer/ umbrella/ and other amenities). the best thing is the outdoor sitting area with an amazing lake view, you feel that you are completely away from traffic. we made a ride with the boat paddle and it was fun. There is a wide place that kids can play and it is safe. I highly recommend this awesome place and for sure we will visit it during winter too and certainly it will be a positive experience.
