Heat you can control in room and bathroom, great shower lots of nozzles, ancient road very close to ancient town center, homemade Fig and apricot jam for breakfast, insightful discussion of Porrera’s history with our educated and considerate hosts. Clean and classy sheets. Windows you can open. We will be back!
Comfortable modern rooms in the old village. Friendly staff preparared a full breakfast buffet (with lovely home made cake) even though we were the only guests. Also arranged a taxi back to Reus. We liked the feeling of space from the three different communal sitting areas. We didn't use the terrace as there was a terrible storm that day but the upper most room had good natural light - village houses can often seem dark and poky. Complimentary tea and coffee were appreciated and there was a reasonable honesty bar for alcoholic drinks too. Excellent high powered shower
The hotel has a home like feel with the ladies in the house working very hard to make your stay comfortable. They cooked rustic meals and laid out a cold buffet for breakfast. The rooms are clean and functional and I had a good time. P.S: No lifts. rooms are on on the first and second floors.

The people working here are truly dedicated and want nothing more than for their guests' stay to be comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast is possibly the best I had in the Priorat area, with local "embutidos" from the butcher in Porrera and Roxana's selection of homemade cakes is wonderful. The breakfast is plentiful and it's self-service. On the last day we had to leave very early, forcing the staff to also be up early, making us breakfast that we could have at 8am (on a Sunday). There were no complaints and we got the whole works as usual. The room was more than pleasant, with a nice big bed and good heating. The only complaint is that sometimes the water had to run nearly four minutes before it got hot. That is an incredible amount of water to waste and is quite unacceptable. I have since found that this is a general problem in the Priorat. Even so, it needs addressing.…
