We stayed in the hotel because of its proximity to the Valley of the Temples. Not much around in the neighborhood but you could see the temples from here. This is an older hotel but clean and well appointed. What really set this hotel apart was the great staff. We were worried because we had airline reservations but no means... More

The gardens are a beautifully tranquil oasis with wonderful views across to the Valley of Temples. The bar area is very pleasant when open and staffed. Waiting-on staff were also very pleasant. However, the hotel has some serious shortcomings, especially for independent travellers. The majority of guests at the hotel are organised parties, staying often for just one night. Everything... Dear Sir I am sorry that you have had the feeling that my hotel is a hotel for groups and not for independent travelers. Actually the opposite is true. Colleverde is a small hotel with only 45 rooms and for its size we can accommodate only small groups. About 70 percent of our clients are independent travelers while the remaining... More

The staff were very welcoming, especially Lyra (I think that is right, apologies if not) who helped us throughout our 3 night stay. We had a basic but comfortable room - wish we'd had a view! A super garden with views to the temples. A short drive to the temple complex and museum. Staff helped us locate an emergency clinic.... More

The hotel is located on a hill near the Valley of the Temples. We found the hotel very quiet and a pleasant place to rest. The garden is beautiful and well maintained with an amazing view. The room was a good size and reasonable for the money we paid with a very comfortable bed. The staff was personable and efficient.... More

Lovely hotel with a very beautiful ground. Our room (a classic room) was clean with a comfortable and large bed. Wifi excellent. Nice breakfast and excellent dinner. Staff very helpful and friendly. The location is easy to find and close to the Valley of the Temples.

While this hotel is well located, it needs to be updated. The hall carpeting is stained and should be replaced. Our room was very dated and there was mold in the shower area. Some of the staff was friendly but in general, the staff seemed a little rushed and disinterested in providing exceptional service. The Internet was spotty. The dinner... More

Located outside the city of Agrigento it is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic garden overlooking the Valley of the Temples. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor. The service is great and the restaurant truly good. Very nice breakfast. 5 minutes drive to the parking of the ruins.

What a pleasant stay we had in Agrigento at this handy hotel. We had a beautiful room overlooking the Temples and were so comfortable and happy with the location. Ask for a room overlooking the sights and don't hesitate to pay to get an upgrade. It is well worth having the view and the lovely exposure. Service was efficient and... More
