nice hotel but in middle of nowhere ,only the highway is nearby.no place to walk after dinner. when I was there in oct. 2015 the tv wasn,t working & there was no pool either. the toilet was on a different level than the bedroom requiring one to climb stairs in the dark in the middle of the night, but they...

A building located in the middle of the countryside, this place is hardly a resort. There is no pool , which I find intriguing in such a hot and dry country, and no other resort-style features to mention. We were told that we could use the pool at a sister resort, but needed a car to access it. My wife...

Nice place but a bit of a challenge to find. Once you get there, it is comfortable and clean. We did enjoy the restaurant but the menu is small and was the same both nights. If there had been a pool or spa there, would be more of a gem. The complex seems incomplete.

Our group was in this hotel in October 2014. When it rained, water came in my room thru ceiling. Water drippled in every 3th second thru the night. Other persons of our group told that in their rooms were very strong unnatural smell. When it disappeared, the sensed clear smell of mold. Personnel and management of the hotel were absolutely...

Hard to find without a GPS system: down a dirt road, literally in the middle of nowhere, but a short drive to the Valley of Temples. Looks nice, once you get past all the dogs lying in the parking lot. Restaurant seems to go out of its way to be non-welcoming, with a limited and boring menu. But there's no...

The hotel is a bit difficult to find, it is on a dirt service road, so get very good directions, especially if you are arriving in the dark. It is also not in the city proper, so unless you have a car (parking is free and plentiful) it would not be easy to walk to restaurants or get around. The...

The resort looks nice but is not up to the standard of 4 stars and almost 200 euro per night. No swimmingpool. Poor menu at the restaurant. No terrace to eat. Not possible for à normal person to use the shower because of the low height of the ceiling. Bath is very very small. And furthermore it looks like à...

A little difficult to find by car, but once there it's fine. Better signage would help. For me being close to Valley of Temples important and so worthwhile, Temple Concordia an outstanding Greek temple in its entirety. No need to get taxi from car park as walking is fine. It's an uphill climb and in the heat could be for...

We stayed at the Demetra for two nights while touring Sicily. It is a lovely oasis in the dry arid land surrounding the area. The staff were very personable and knowledgeable and ready to help make our stay as pleasurable as possible. The hotel is located close to the temple sites but not in walking distance unless you really want...

We stayed at Demetra for two nights during our 12 day tour of Sicily. The resort seems new, and in fact perhaps it isn't quite finished yet. Not sure why it's called a "resort" versus a hotel, because I failed to note a difference. To me, a resort should have a pool, workout room, spa, things like that. No big...
