Centrally located with 5-15 minute walk to most major attractions. Shopping and many restaurants nearby. Main square a five minute walk. Rooms are decorated in funky colours- if you don’t like bright and vibrant pick a different spot. We got upgraded to junior suite and it was great - comfortable bed, separate sitting area, modern bathroom. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

We decided to break our journey from Rome to Florence and chose Arezzo as it is on the Rome/Florence ralway route and reputed to have some lovely Tuscan restaurants (we were not disappointed!) The hotel is 10 minutes walk up from the station and very easy to find.
The helpful and friendly receptionist was very stylish - a real omen to the hotel itself! Each of Hotel Patio's rooms/suites are themed on different parts of the travel writer Bruce Chatwin's books. The attention to detail of the room decor was perfect, even down to the lovely tranquil views over the campanile and pretty back gardens.
The breakfast, served inexplicably in the nightclub underneath the hotel was generous by most Italian hotel breakfast standards.
I can recommend this hotel as a romantic treat for a night or two and an ideal base for exploring Arezzo and the nearby countryside.

This hotel is in the best location, I loved everything. The staff were fantastic, the breakfast great including eggs cooked on request, you can walk to everything and surrounded by great restaurants and shops - not to mention the famous San Francesco church a stones throw away. The rooms have complementary fruit basket, Mac laptop and a bar fridge, comfortable beds and pillows and my room was really quiet. I have read through lots of comments on this hotel and agree that the rooms are small and there is no lift however I was upgraded from a small single to the 'green' room which had a small lounge and mezanine with bed and bathroom. Most hotels in Italy have smallish rooms so that is expected. All the other things completely outweigh that. The staff will carry bags and unless you are incapacitated the steps are no problem. You can walk from the station however my bag was heavy so took a cab which was a couple of minutes. I booked through booking.com and thought it was really good value. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Arezzo is the most beautiful town and the view from the peaceful park at the top of the town is just lovely. I will be returning. Virginia - Australia

I like to start on the positive, the location is great. Central to everything within few minutes walk, a little tricky to get to by car but no different to any other historical town.
The staff were lovely and helpful, but then realised that the lady running the breakfast is also the housekeeper and I think that says a lot.
This hotel may have been 4stars a long time ago, but now it has sunk down to 2 starts, it is in need of a major refurbishment.
We had a fairly spacious room for 3 people, but the colour scheme must have been painted by a colour blind painter on an acid trip! It was painted in lolly pink and sunshine yellow with contrasting skirting in mauve and brown!
The fan in the bathroom was running all the time, making this suctions noise day and night!
The breakfast was horrid! The same slices of cheese and ham were presented every morning, until the hedges started curling.
On our floor there was a water dispenser, with the most horrid plastic cups, which were communal to everyone on the same floor!
My advice to the owner, which lives in the hotel, is to take a road trip and visit other 4 star hotels to compare what is out there, because with the right refurbishment and the location the hotel would be a wonderful asset to Arezzo..

This hotel was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was like a cement block, making it literally impossible to sleep. No robes, no full-length mirror. Our adapter to charge our phones kept slipping out of the sockets so we were left with too little charge for the day. Breakfast was not only meager, but very strange. You have to order the night before and then the lady brings it to you, but be aware if you have a driver coming. It happens in slow stages.

This hotel is nicely located to the centre of Arezzo and everything is reachable on foot.
It said that private car parking is avilable for 20 euro per night in some guide but there is also free public car parking not so far, so we decided to use public one and it was no problem.
The hotel reception is very helpful and friendly but the room was rather too small for such price in off season in such small city like Arezzo.
However, I enjoyed city Arezzo and the famous plazza was beautiful.

Located 3/4s up Corso Italia from the train station it is perfectly situated for a visitor to Arezzo.

There are numerous fantastic restaurants within minutes and the best Gelato in town 4 minutes walk down Corso Italia. Pizza by the slice is right outside the front door.

Beautiful entrance tells you that the interior and rooms are going to be equally pleasant and comfortable. Very quiet rooms. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic in room shower.

The breakfast provided is excellent. Many, many fresh choices.

I can't wait to return to Graziella Patio Hotel

Love the hotel location. You can walk to everywhere in Arezzo city! Front desk ladies are helpful and pleasant. Room 101 looks authentic where bed is upstairs and downstairs is the living area. Love the design of the room. Downside is wifi is very weak. I've to place my laptop near the door throughout my stay. It was impossible to connect to any wifi till the receptionist keyed in my IP address into their system. Toilet is a bit too small. Oh! The air-condition can be a bit annoying. It shuts itself in the middle of the night till 11am? Can be stuffy if you're here in summer. Breakfast has all I need - Fresh Blueberries, rapsberries and yoghurt.

If you've difficulty walking the stairs, you might want to avoid this hotel as you've to climb 2 staircase to reach your room? ;)

My husband and I stayed in the Graziella Patio Hotel for one night in July 2014. What a fantastic location right in the heart of the city - only problem was that due to the location parking was not right outside the hotel. We arrived around 1.30pm and drove up the flagstone streets to the hotel, it was lucky that is was mid day as it was very quiet, later in the day would have been more tricky to negotiate pedestrians. The hotel showed us where secure parking was available for 20 euro a day and we took this option, on foot it is about a 5 minute walk to the car park from the hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful and provided details of the city.
Our room was downstairs near to the breakfast room. It was attractively appointed with black and white decor, ceiling to floor mirrored wardrobes and a glass panel separating the bathroom (with jacuzzi bath with multi-coloured lights). It all felt very glamorous room in a beautiful old building.
We recommend this hotel for couples who wanted a central location in a luxurious hotel.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre. The rooms are nicely decorated and with all possible amenities. The staff is very friendly and responsive to all needs. And even though it's right in the center and next to the piazza with restaurants you can't hear anything in the rooms - ensuring a good sleep :)
