Good hotel and garden. Amazing view. But the road is long and narrow and has to be driven on top of a hill. Staff is lovely and rooms are nice. Restaurant is amazing and too many alternatives. I don't like hills on the road so if you need to think about this call the property first.

I spent two nights of my honeymoon here. My wife and I took up a last minute offer and we stayed there for two nights. The room was spectacular, but the shower was clogged and it smelled a little funky. The day after we told the guy at the reception and fixed it. The only downside is that the place...

My friend and myself went for a winery visit + wine tasting last week, without staying at the property unfortunately. The estate is gorgeous even on a winter day, and within 10 minutes from Arezzo city centro. But what impress us is the people there. Ms. Bonella Ciacci seems to be really believing in the whole green concept and she...

Great stay, nice rooms and hotel, very authentic Italian style. Nice staff, though very busy. Overlooking Arezzo, very beautiful view, great pool but a bit cold. Nive breakfast and very nice lady serving it. NO wifi in the room and aircon not Workinh well, there were no safe either. But a great place to relax

Don't trust your GPS...call the hotel and ask for directions. I drove an extra 12 k 's alone in a hire car up a very steep rough road with no Tarmac, stressed out about flat tyres, stone damage to car, getting completely lost ! But I arrived, and Allessandro was very welcoming, was able to rustle up a late lunch,...

We arrived at this hotel at the end of a 2 week trip of Tuscany and Umbria. Upon arriving at this stunning resort, we were initially very impressed. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Tuscan style (not modern, but very Italian), the grounds of the hotel are beautiful and there is a fantastic pool area with views over Arezzo....

Stayed a while ago and not had time to write a review. Well decorated house with interesting features. All the staff were as helpful as they could be. This place could be difficult t find if you were arriving in the dark, but tis did give the place an air of private seclusion.

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights and would definitely like to visit again. The staff were very efficient, friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is a lovely traditional building with nice views. It has its own restaurant which was excellent. The dinner menu was very good and the breakfast was plentiful. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

hotel situated in the nature and silence in very few miles from the historic center of Arezzo, large room, clean and with a spectacular view of the pool, excellent breakfast, but the highlight is the restaurant, the chef delighted us with a filet cooked to perfection . Must try if you want to regenerate the body and mind from the...

Booked 3 nights in this hotel in early JUN. Unfortunately, had to leave after staying just one night (no partial refund was given, of course). This is not a 4-star property as they advertise, more like a 2-star by Italian standards. In fact, I've seen better breakfasts in 2-star hotels in Italy. The room and the bathroom were very spartan...

good evening, I'm sorry to read your review so negative towards the hotel, but I want to clarify a few points: - First booking was non-refundable type, so no wrong has been done to you; - At your arrival you have waited 10 minutes because before you there were other customers to be accompanied in the room; - You must...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Badia Di Pomaio was founded in 1645 as a religious home and place of spiritual retreat. In the 2000s, a careful restoration has transformed this place into receptive structure with restaurant, respecting what were historic architectural features. Our restaurant is a representation of the typical Casentino Aretine and bringing to light the ancient methods, trying not to upset the old values of Tuscan cuisine, enhancing the authenticity and flavors of local products. Opening hours of the restaurant: Lunch: 1:00 am to 2:30 pm Dinner: 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm ... more   less
