When I arrived I found my room to be spacious and well appointed. The desk area was large enough and the lighting was good. The rooms were always kept clean and restocked. For a non speaking Italian I was happy the find the staff had English speaking personnel. There is a laundry service provided if needed. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and there is also a pizzeria onsite open in the evening hours. The courtyard is a nice mix of tile patios and a well kept lawn. There is a large pool with plenty of seating and shaded areas. I would recommend this hotel for both short and long stay travelers.

The hotel is located a few miles from the town center, so nearby restaurants are limited, unless you drive to town. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and the food is good. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful

They didn't suggest me any way to compensate for even part of the stay.
I had a really bad day and some unforeseen events that prevented me from being able to stay at the hotel.
My car stopped in the middle of the highway, I had high expenses for repairing it and high doses of stress and I suddenly found myself in bad financial conditions. I sent them a message at 12:08 and they didn't reply; I asked them to wave fees but they refused without even replying. asked them again at 16:13 and this time they replied at 18:12 (two hours later) that they tried to resell the room until 19:00 (so for 48 minutes, if so) and if they succeeded they proceeded to refund me. Some minutes later I received the notification on my phone that the amount was withdrawn from my bank account. So why didn't they try to resell the room until, for example, midnight and what if they succeeded? They would have obtained twice (or more) the price of the room at my expense.
We could have arranged for a partial refund since they had not incurred expenses for my stay (breakfast, pool, cleaning, water, electricity, etc.) but they did not. We could have agreed on a change of dates, (although I would have preferred a partial refund given the poor financial condition in which I suddenly found myself) but they did not.

We stayed here with our friends and had a lovely visit. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the room was large, comfortable and clean and the sound insulation was good too. On the Saturday there was a wedding in the grounds outside our window and we were a bit worried that there might be some noise but our worries were unfounded. We ate at the pizzeria on several nights and found the staff really helpful and the food delicious and very reasonably priced. The only downside for us was that it was situated out of town and so we had to eat at the hotel or drive to a restaurant. We would definitely return to this hotel and can highly recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed at the Olimpia hotel. The hotel is located near a road with a lot of economic activity, but inside the hotel you are not affected by it.
In the garden there is an large pool. Despite the good weather the water was very chilly.
Breakfast was very good, surely when you like sweets. Our room was quiet big, clean and comfortable. Furthermore the room had air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
Really good value for money.

It was as advertised, a nice local hotel. Very nice people running it. It was clean, which I insist on. Breakfast was good, it was always the same, pastries, cakes, sunny side up eggs, hard boiled eggs.

My husband and myself stayed at this lovely hotel at the begining of July 2017. the reason we were there was we were attending the wedding of a friend of my husbands. We were made very welcome upon arrival and given our room key and directions to the room with a wonderful smile from the lady on reception. The room was very large and high ceilings, large very comfortable bed, sofa and table and chairs (this was a standard room). The room was spotless as was the bathroom which was also big. Our room had a view of the mountains, very peaceful. the breakfast was very good, plenty of variety. The food in the restaurant was superb, we ate only twice as we had the wedding to attend. I would not hesitate to reccomend this hotel and cannot wait to return. Grazie mille for a superb stay.

If travelling in Italy, don't overlook the Abruzzo region. It is worth your while to get off the beaten path and go into the heart of the country. It is a short drive 60 km. or so east of Rome.

Last spring, our family of 15 visited Italy. We lodged at the Hotel Olimpia. This hotel is fabulous. Having attended a family wedding reception there in 1999, I arranged for a reception for my relatives, who live in nearby Paterno. The caterers provided appetizers, desserts and beverages in a beautifully decorated party room. My relatives came to meet my family and enjoyed the delicious provisions. We ranged in age from 74 to 10, and the hotel staff were "over the top" in attending our needs.

The breakfast spread was phenomenal, the restaurant meals delicious, and the pizza the best in the region (proclaimed by my cousin, who goes there regularly). The rooms were kept impeccable.

While there, we visited the area of Fucino, which is a plain formed by a lake that was drained in the mid 1800s. The area also offers ski resorts in Avezzano and Celano, a castle to tour, ancient Roman ruins (Alba Fucens), Abruzzo National Park, which was beautiful, plus other sites to see. You can drive around Fucino and pass through beautiful, ancient towns. This area has been described as "the last frontier", in that it has a stark beauty of its own, not so green and lush. Don't miss it, as you will fall in love with it. To make your stay most enjoyable, be sure to stay at the Hotel Olimpia.

Grazie mille a Antonietta and the staff at the Hotel Olimpia. I hope to return soon.

Is the best hotel of avezzano supposed to be. Have to say the structure is older a bit but rooms and equipment was adequate.
If you ask for a room on the other side of the road you will have a buitifull view on the mountains, especially nice evenings when the sun goes down.
Breakfast like most Italian breakfast rather sweet staff but you find eggs and some ham and chease as well.
