First of all let me say the staff were great. My room was drab but functional. There was no safe or lockable drawer. To get to the lift up to Bormio 2000 you have to walk down the street maybe 10 minutes. The bus stop for day trips to Santa Cateruna and San Colombano is also here. You therefore have...

Staff are very friendly and hotel has a perfect location. You can reach anywhere by feet. Room is not luxury but always clean. Breakfast could be better. Also should know that Bormio is better for skiing not for snowboarding. Also free wifi!!!

As part of a group this was the perfect hotel. Family run and charming. At all times a member of the family or staff are available and extremely helpful. The staffing and levels of cleanliness were very high and the location is perfect for ski hire and a very short distance to the main lift/gondola. Swimming pool and ski boot...

Stayed at the Derby for three nights in two 3 bed rooms half board. It wasn't expensive so was the standard expected. Some of the Staff are a bit quirky, some very helpful and the food was decent. The drinks were not cheap, but not crazy. Overall we didn't pay much for the evening meals, so they charge a lot...

To commence the skiing season in December 2013, I chose an Italian winter sports center. The town is called Bormio and it's commonly recognized among skiers. It's beautifully located beneath the Alps and it boasts numerous, well maintainde pistes.Thermal waters also belong to various attractions of the center. Of many hotels, motels and appartments I decided to book a room...

Central of the amenities of the town and is very close to ski slopes (not that we could use them in the summer!) but if you like summer mountain walks and...

We were booked into the Nevada which seemed really smart and warm and friendly but on arrival were advised our room was still being used by a lady whose husband had been taken into hospital. We were told there was a room for us at the nearby Derby. It turned out the Derby is run by the sister of the...

The room was clean, nice sheets and towels, but basically decor stuck in early 70s, which would have been ok if the staff had been chirpy, but as they weren't, and the breakfast was stingy, it seemed a bit grim. Probably made worse because we paid the same amount for the Nevada Hotel a week before and that was a...
