I have been to the Hotel Funivia the last 2 summers. I am planning my next trip now. The hotel is nice. Half board is more like full board. I could not recommend the Stelvio Experience more highly. The guides are great, helping you through whatever comes up.

Several of us who had stayed at the Garda Bike Hotel (Enjoy Hotel Garda) were met at the top of the Passo Gavia after riding up from Ponte di Legno. After recovering and warming up we rode down the other side, through Santa Caterina Valfurva to Bormio, home to the Hotel Funivia, a traditional-looking hotel close to the (charming) town...

As a group of 12 cyclists, we have been to Hotel Funivia 5 or 6 times now for cycling the famous climbs nearby. Fantastic facilities, rooms and people, food is excellent as is the nightly 'cycle gear wash service' & afternoon snacks The best cycling bar filled with so many cycling items. "Passionate about cycling". We have also visited in...

Having visited at Easter 2015 for the spectacular Easter festivities and experienced the wonderful hospitality, food and genuine warmth of the staff at Hotel Funivia, we had no hesitation to visit again for a summer experience. We are neither cyclists nor skiers - both of which the hotel caters for brilliantly- but you don't need to be either to enjoy...

We came to Bormio to cycle Stelvio and stay at the Hotel Funivia. The staff is awesome. They are helpful, smile all the time, and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are clean and fresh with ample room and storage. The bike shop, bar, and amenities are great too. I would strongly recommend staying at this lovely place. Ps....

Stayed here for four days to ride some of the famous climbs nearby. Couldn't speak more highly of the services offered by the hotel, welcoming staff and Stelvio experience. Dedicated secure bike storage, maintenance and wash areas, daily washing of your cycling kit and restaurant grade three course meals. We will certainly be back.

This hotel is wonderful, we travelled with our 3 young children and honestly the staff where so welcoming and really made us feel so looked after. I was able to go out cycling in the most beautiful scenery and come back to a clean, comfortable, massive family room. The food is extraordinary, the decor modern and warm. The staff...bellissima!
