Located a short distance from both the town center and the sea on a quiet road with little traffic, THE HOTEL MANZONI has been owned and operated by the Semprini Family since it was built in 1970. The limited number of rooms creates a cordial yet familiar environment in which the proprietors can personally attend to the needs of their guests. The hotel provides a friendly and vibrant atmosphere for both Italian and international visitors. Simone, the "lady of the house", originally came from Amneville les Thermes in the northeast of France. She has added her international touch while respecting the traditions of Romagna. Through her efforts, French is the second language for the entire family, who are also conversant in English and German. The hotel is equipped with air-conditioned common spaces, and a large breakfast terrace. All bedrooms have been renovated and are equipped with en suite services, balcony, television, free Wi-fi connection, safe, hairdryer, and ceiling fan. Air conditioning in bedrooms is available upon request. A charming fenced garden and a play room with television and toys allow parents a relaxing stay and make the hotel an especially suitable environment for family vacations. A small kitchen is available around the clock for mums to prepare bottles and baby food. In Italy, the kitchen is at the heart of a well managed hotel, and our kitchen has always received particular attention and care. We feature an extended menu and offer the flexibility to please everyone's tastes and needs. We also provide a children's menu.

Our family and family friends spent the most amazing four days at this hotel. The family run hotel is truly fantastic. It is full of Italian families and children and the atmosphere is lively. The breakfast was amazing, we particularly liked the fact that you could take it onto the terrace. It started the day in the most relaxing way. The array of foods and quanity available was excellent, at llunch and dinner they came around with seconds. The rooms were clean and bright and comfortable. The Manzoni family are very welcoming, warm and fun. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Having visited this region for thirty years this is the best hotel we have stayed in without a doubt. We are looking foward to returning in 2015.

Yes, the location is perfect between the beach and the city centre, and yes- the food is wonderful, but the best part is the feeling of getting to know a friendly and helpful Italian family. Our first visit to Manzoni was in 1983, and we have been back several times. Travelling is about getting to know local people and local culture, and the Semprini family make you feel welcome and happy. We were three generations travelling together, and full board with healthy home made Italian food is a winner. Silvio picked us up at the airport and took us to the train station. We even made a day trip to Florence by train. From Cattolica, we took a train to Ancona and a ferry to Split in Croatia.

The Semprini family do their best to make you stay memorable. The food, the friendly people, and all the activities they initiate gives you a feeling of coming home when you arrive. A boy in my family stated: "Best hotel ever"
