The Vine is situated in the Cotswold village of Stanton right on the Cotswold Way national trail. A lovely old building full of interesting features. We had a room in the loft with an ensuite bathroom. Excellent breakfast, charming host.

Stanton is a posh little town with virtually no commercial activity, apparently inhabited by weekenders, or the retired. Nothing moves. Its a beautiful museum. If you want to indulge in fantasies of centuries past, this is the place. We had a warm, but unintrusive welcome....More
