I loved Villa Gaia - quiet, well positioned for the beach, easy parking, and an easy walk to the pretty and interesting old town of Cefalu. The staff at the hotel were helpful & friendly: Sara is brilliant, also good are Gorgio, Giuseppi and Dana. The beach lidos this hotel has access to are nice too, especially Malik, with good... We stayed in 3 hotels during our 10 day visit to Sicily. Villa Gaia was, by far, the friendliest and most welcoming of them all. From Sara who checked us in and helped us plan our day, to the woman who served us at breakfast, to Guiseppe who helped us in the evening - they went above and beyond our... More

This is a perfectly nice little hotel across from the beach and a 10 minute walk along the front to the lovely old town of Cefalu. The owner (Sara we think) makes it extra special as she always seems on hand to help. The breakfast was nothing fancy but quite adequate. We had a ground floor room with a sea... More

We stayed for 2 nights in March. The owner was seemingly ever-present, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Our room was a reasonable-sized triple, clean and with old-fashioned decor. The hotel faces the beach and is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the old center. I'd definitely stay again if I am lucky enough to find myself in Cefalu again.
