We spent 2 nights for our Cernobbio holiday in this hotel. The other places were mostly full. It is not an ordinary hotel. Our room was with 2 floors, there was an atmosphere like feeling you are at home. It was nice and comfortable. It...More

Yes, there is public transport to and from Como and also for going up lake. There is a bus going twice an hour to Como and then there is a ferry boat, "battello" for Como and other lake side towns as well. Bus tickets can be bougt at the "Bar Gei" where the bus stop is, whereas ferry tickets are sold in the harbour some 10 minutes before every departure. None of these go at night so if you go to Como for dinner and return after 9 p.m. you need to take a taxi.
