This looks like a lovely hotel. However the rooms are tiny. No place to sit only one chair at the very small desk otherwise have to sit on the bed. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, with hard and flat pillows, the bedspread on the bed had a large burn mark on it. The noise level in the rooms...

Front desk not pleasant/welcoming, unusual for Italians. Restaurant staff very pleasant and accommodating. Restaurant clean, lots available for continental breakfast. Great espresso. Shower had black grim. Okay for one night stay. Hotel has complimentary shuttle to the port. If your are looking for airport transfers I highly recommend Trip2Rome, excellent service, best prices!

We stayed here one night before our cruise left. Very cute and comfortable place. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. Safe area. They still have real room keys. The bathroom was a bit tight and the door hit the bidet and did not open fully but minor inconvenience. You need a degree in engineering to work the tv, so we...

But doesn't quite live up to it's current "excellent" status. The staff was nice, the breakfast was fine, the rooms are clean. It's a very basic place with a shuttle to the port (which we were charged for although I had been under the impression it was complimentary; so maybe complimentary for some and not for others?) Aside from that...

Basic little hotel which provided a clean room, and a nice breakfast. Staff was friendly and accommodating, a shuttle service was provided free of charge from the cruise port upon arrival and back the next morning. We arrived early in the day, and our room was available at no extra charge, which was nice, especially since there was no place...

Nice people, good meal, small room just comfortable enough for 1 night. Free transportation to harbor. Adequate.Clean. I don't know if there are any other hotels around that are better for the price but it didn't really matter as this was ok for what we needed.

We booked this hotel through Expedia. It is not in the center of Civitavecchia. It's a small building with only 14 rooms, but has its own private restaurant. The first floor is upstairs, but there is an elevator. We chose this one because it offered a free breakfast buffet and a free shuttle ride (1.5 miles) to the cruise port....

Some reviewers are, quite wrongly, describing the Borgo del Mare as a “Boutique” Hotel, which it is definitely not. It is a small, quite basic Hotel and should not, in my experience, be described as “4 Star”, under any system of measurement. In the UK, it could well be categorised as a B&B hotel. The Hotel is adequate, for a...

This hotel is a great place to stay in Civitaveccia. The Hotel transfer from the airport was excellent, the room very good and the breakfast was great. Excellent service. A little out of the way but a pleasant walk into town. Some fantastic restaurants around the area.

We really enjoyed out stay at Borgo del Mare. The rooms were simple and clean and the family running the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The wifi and air conditioning worked fine. The restaurant they run at the hotel has a very nice breakfast selection included with the stay, and we also ate there for dinner the night we...
